Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept is a standard humanoid containment cell, with furniture reinforced to accommodate its dimensions and weight. It is to receive double rations reinforced with additional protein and iron. At 3:00 PM daily the subject is to be escorted to a specialized fitness area and left undisturbed for 2 (two) hours for the purpose of relieving stress1. During this time a single squad of 4 (four) level 3 guards armed with automatic tranquilizer rifles2 are to be posted inside the room along with a single level 3 scientist for the purpose of observing changes in the strength of the subject. Once weekly at promptly 12:00 noon on Monday, the subject is to be left alone in an observation chamber with at least 33 class-D personnel and left alone until there are no visible traces of blood and a waiting period of 15 minutes, see Test Log XXXX-01-A for a transcript of one of these procedures. In the event that this procedure is to be postponed the class-D personnel are to be replaced with a single full grown bovine/equine creature with a weight equal to or greater than 500 (five hundred) kilograms, and repeated every day until it can be performed properly, after which point the subjects schedule is to continue as normal.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a white Caucasian male of indeterminate age standing at 2.97 meters (9 feet 9 inches) and weighing 192 kilograms (approx. 423 pounds), most of which is observed to be muscle mass. The subject is covered in numerous scars including a scar in the middle of the forehead the size of a marble, a large scar across the chest, and a scar around the neck consistent with decapitation. The entirety of its torso and arms are covered in intricate markings which appear to degrade over time, see Test Log XXXX-02 for further information. The markings integrity can be restored if the subject absorbs the blood of a human it has freshly killed, animals have been observed to have decreased efficiency in the restoration of these markings, but prolonged use of animal blood is not advised despite the availability of animals, see Log XXXX-01-B for further information . Once the markings reach a certain degree of degradation (referred to as DOD-1) the subjects strength and aggression begin to increase inversely to the integrity of the markings until the markings reach DOD-2 at which point the subject will kill any persons it sees until the markings have been restored to full integrity, but will not actively search for victims, once the markings reach DOD-3 the subject begins to search for victims but will not destroy anything, at DOD-3.5 the subject will destroy weaker4 obstacles in search of victims, at critical degradation, DOD-4, the subject destroys everything in search of victims. The subject seems to be invulnerable to all physical harm, though these do decrease the integrity of the markings, see Test Log XXXX-03 for transcripts of experiments. SCP-XXXX is also abnormally strong, and has been observed to exercise with weights exceeding 1000 kilograms.

Interview Log XXXX-01
SCP-XXXX is escorted into the into the interview room with Dr. Anderson. SCP-XXXX ducks to fit through the doorway
Dr. Anderson “Please, have a seat and we can begin the interview” gestures toward the chair opposite the table
SCP-XXXX glances at chair “I would prefer to stand, but if sitting would make you more comfortable with my presence” gently lowers self into chair. Chair collapses under SCP-XXXX’s weight “and that is the reason I prefer standing” SCP-XXXX brushes remnants of the chair out of the way, then proceeds to sit in a kneeling position opposite Dr. Anderson, its height allowing them to be eye-level
Dr. Anderson “So SCP-XX-”
SCP-XXXX visibly agitated “GOLIATH. My name is Goliath.” SCP-XXXX pauses and regains its calm demeanor. After taking a deep breath; “I have been extremely cooperative with you, I believe that the least you could do is give me the respect of calling me by my true name and introducing yourself.”
Dr. Anderson interviewer note I noticed that SCP-XXXX took etiquette and politeness very seriously and attempted to appeal to that to gain its trust “You’re right, I apologize. Let’s start over, My name is Jade Anderson, though I’d rather you call me Dr. Anderson”
SCP-XXXX nods approvingly “It is a pleasure to meet you Dr. Anderson.” SCP-XXXX extends its arm to shake hands, Dr. Anderson accepts the gesture, and shakes hands with SCP-XXXX
Dr. Anderson “So, SC-” Dr. Anderson stops and corrects herself “Sorry, force of habit,” SCP-XXXX nods understandingly “So, Goliath, the purpose of this interview is to better understand you, so we can accommodate you and your abilities better. Lets start with some background information, what is your full birth name.”
SCP-XXXX “Goliath”
Dr. Anderson visibly doubtful “that’s the name you were given at birth, you don’t have a middle or last name?”
SCP-XXXX “I can not remember if it is the name I was given at birth, but it is the name I remember, and I doubt that I ever had a last or middle name, those were for the elite.”
Dr. Anderson “Alright, so where and when were you born.”
SCP-XXXX eyes closed and visibly concentrating “Hmm” The last place I remember having called home was… Gath? Yes, Gath sounds right. I visited it recently and I think its now called… Tell es-Safi?” opens eyes “Or something like that, and as for my birth date, I can not remember, I know it was before Saul took the throne. But I am sure there is record of it somewhere, since people seem to be obsessed with me.”
Dr. Anderson “Okay, now let’s talk about the village we found you in” pulls out a file “it says here that everything in the village was completely absent of blood, which means the blood of,” reads from sheet of paper “107 (one hundred seven) adults, 34 (thirty four) teenagers, 25 (twenty five) children, 16 (sixteen) toddlers, 4 (four) infants, 356 (three hundred fifty six) cattle, 18 (eighteen) dogs, 21 (twenty one) cats, and 1 (one) hamster, either disappeared or was consumed, what happened to it, and why.”
SCP-XXXX sits quietly, obviously distracted
Dr. Anderson “Goliath?”
SCP-XXXX “Yes, the blood, it was… consumed” stares at right arm
Dr. Anderson “Okay, why did you need to consume that much blood? How did you consume-”
SCP-XXXX “Not me… The markings.” points at markings all over body “They did not need all of them, they only needed 10 (ten) or 15 (fifteen) of them, but then they shot me, I lost control.”
Dr. Anderson “One thing at a time Goliath, what happened to the blood, and why did y-, why did the markings need it?”
SCP-XXXX “the markings keep me alive, and they let me control the bloodlust-”
Dr. Anderson “Bloodlust?”
SCP-XXXX glares angrily at Dr. Anderson “One thing at a time Dr. Anderson, as I was saying, they let me control the bloodlust, but being in control drains them, as does being harmed. As they fade, so does my control, but my strength and anger grows. Blood is required to restore them, I try to only kill enough to satiate them.”
Dr. Anderson “Then why kill everyone if you only needed a few?”
SCP-XXXX “The bloodlust killed them. Please realize that the bloodlust is not me, it is not a part of me, it is a part of the markings, I believe that the bloodlust is a way for them to preserve themselves.”
Dr. Anderson “you still haven’t explained why yo- why the bloodlust killed everything.”
SCP-XXXX “truthfully, I do not understand it myself, all I know is that about it is that, despite how much blood it consumes, it will not give me back control until it can no longer detect a living creature”
at this point it is determined that SCP-XXXX has no more knowledge about how its ability functions, Dr. Anderson is told to move on with the interview. Further questioning produced no relevant information and as such is omitted from this transcript.
Dr. Anderson “Well, Goliath, I believe that is everything that I need to ask you, it was a pleasure meeting you”
SCP-XXXX “likewise, Dr. Anderson, I look forward to conversing with you in the future”

Test Log-XXXX-01-A
Foreword
SCP-XXXX is placed into a room with 5 (five) volunteers from the local prison, for the purpose of restoring SCP-XXXXs markings. The volunteers will be provided with a variety of weapons once the test begins, to observe the efficiency of conventional weaponry.
12:01:24>SCP-XXXX enters observation room and looks at each volunteer.
12:02:04>TS-1 speaks to SCP-XXXX “So what is this experiment and who the fuck are you.”
12:02:10>SCP-XXXX responds “I am Goliath, you will try to kill me, but you will fail. Know that I will take no joy in your deaths, and only do this to spare everyone else. I am ready to begin”
12:02:20> weapons drop through the chute across from the entrance.

00:00:07>SCP-XXXX grabs and crushes TS-1s skull with it’s right hand

00:00:17>SCP-XXXX kneels down and places it’s right hand in the puddle formed by the blood coming from TS-1s remains, the markings on SCP-XXXX begin to change color from dark brown to a deep red
00:00:33>TS-3 has grabbed a shotgun, TS-4 has grabbed an assault rifle, TS-5 has grabbed a revolver and are all firing upon SCP-XXXX
00:02:25>SCP-XXXX has finished absorbing TS-1s blood, all remaining test subjects have fired several dozen rounds of ammunition into SCP-XXXX to minimal effect. SCP-XXXX is informed over intercom that enough weapon data has been collected, and the test subjects can be terminated.
