Item #: SCP-4914
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4914-A is to be kept in a small room with access restricted to SCP-4914-B and, during testing, D-Class personnel. SCP-4914-B to be held in a standard humanoid containment cell with direct access to SCP-4914-A's holding chamber, and to be provided with daily rations. To ensure cooperation, basic requests from SCP-4914-B are to be provided to a reasonable extent.
Note 9/21/18: If at some point SCP-4914-B begins showing signs of aggression, personnel are to stop providing SCP-4914-B with requests and deny access to SCP-4914-A until containment procedures are adjusted.
Description: SCP-4914-A is an anvil made of an unknown material, weighing about twenty kilograms and being about eighty centimeters tall. SCP-4914-A doesn't show anomalous properties on its own, however, when being used by SCP-4914-B, SCP-4914-A can forge any conceivable object, provided that the material requirements stated by SCP-4914-B are met. It is noteworthy that material requirements often involve implied properties and or value of a requirement, rather than the materials making it up.
SCP-4914-B is a male humanoid about 1.8 meters in height, it has stated that its name is John, and requests to be referred to as such by foundation personnel. While it does not necessarily require nutrients to survive, it expresses extreme discomfort when deprived of such. SCP-4914-B has shown itself to be able to create anything that it can conceptualize when provided with the necessary materials and access to SCP-914-A.
SCP-4914 was discovered when reports started arising in [Data Expunged] of a person who could "Forge anything your mind could think of". The foundation came to investigate and discovered SCP-4914, who was then taken to site-██.
Below is an interview with SCP-4914-B conducted right after containment.
Interviewed: SCP-4914-B
Interviewer: Dr. █████
Foreword: This is an interview with SCP-4914-B, asking about its capabilities and how it came into possession of SCP-4914-A.
<Begin Log>
Dr. █████: Hello, SCP-4914. We would like to ask you some questions.
SCP-4914-B: Call me John, please. And I assume ye wish to know how I create my items?
Dr. █████: That is correct. First, how did you come into possession of SCP-4914-A?
SCP-4914-B: My anvil? I made it myself, forged of pure archanium! The enchantment took weeks but it was worth it.Dr. █████: "Archanium"? I have never heard of such a thing.
SCP-4914-B: 'Course ye haven't. You Earthen people know so little. Though, I've never seen any magic of the likes ye have in this facility. It's what we Geons call an 'impossible alloy', things forged out of materials that aren't supposed to mix.
Dr. █████: I see, and what are the limits of SCP-4914-A?
SCP-4914-B: Only in what it asks for, but I can create anything that I can reasonably imagine.
Dr. █████: What are some things you have made in the past?
SCP-4914-B: Usually I make stuff to impress people, 'perfect' objects, transforming one thing into another, things of that nature. I make useful things as well, self-charging batteries, unbreakable electronics, portable rooms.
Dr. █████: What do you mean by a perfect object?
SCP-4914-B: Things that are perfectly smooth and with perfect dimensions. And if ye look at them with a microscope ye don't find mollecules, but rather a totally solid surface.
Dr. █████: How does the creation of these items work?
SCP-4914-B: Simple Geon magic, I wouldn't expect ye to understand.
Dr. █████: Would you explain anyways?
SCP-4914-B: I'm afraid I cannot, ye'd need to ask one of the Geon scientists, and I can't tell ye how to reach em for risk that ye'd capture em like ye captured me.
Dr. █████: I see… thank you for cooperating, we are going to ask you to demonstrate your use of SCP-4914-A.
<End Log>Closing Statement: The following tests were conducted directly after the interview.
Below are several tests conducted by the Foundation to see the capabilities of SCP-4914.
Test 1: perfect object
Requested object: A 'perfect object', as mentioned in the interview.
Required materials: A steel ball, sandpaper.
Results: A sphere, exactly five centimeters in diameter that appeared to experience no friction, and had no roughness whatsoever. It didn't seem to have any molecular structure.
Notes: Video recordings showed that the sandpaper and steel ball were placed onto SCP-4914-A, upon striking the anvil with a hammer, the objects instantly merged together, producing the sphere.
Test 2: ███████ ██████
Requested object: [DATA EXPUNGED]
Required materials: Tissue sample from ███████, a steel sword, [DATA EXPUNGED] retrieved from SCP-294.
Results: ███████ was successfully destroyed, however, it reappeared in containment days later. No personnel injured.
Notes: Still can't kill this thing?
Test 3: transportation device
Requested object: Two objects allowing for instant transportation to the other when one is touched.
Required materials: A sheet of paper with a program describing the transportation in terms of coordinates, two hundred grams of uranium-235, two kilograms of steel, five hundred grams of silver.
Results: Two small plates of metal that, when one is stepped on by a subject, the subject will teleport to the other.
Notes: This could be quite useful.

Addendum 9/21/18: We requested an object that SCP-4914-B said would require a human as a material. We offered a class D for use, and SCP-4914-B expressed disgust at the idea. SCP-4914-B is now more reluctant to forge objects, reclassified to Euclid.
