Authors' Resources

Per the greenlighting policy, first-time authors must get concepts reviewed in the Ideas Critique Forum or IRC chatrooms before creating a feedback thread in the Drafts and Critique forum. Draft critique can still be sought via IRC and PM without greenlights.

When you have a draft that you know for sure the audience will like, bring it to Drafts Critique Forum. Please note that the forums move much slower than the chat, and the draft forum moves slower than the ideas forum!

The mainsite-run IRC chatrooms are the most reliable source of real-time critique discussion.

Object Class: nice Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Must be placed in a nice, small cardboard box of non-specific dimensions. The sealing of the nice cardboard box is not required.
Description: A 3*5 index card with 'lol69' written on it in black ink, in very nice handwriting. The card is white on both sides, with blue lines covering one side of the nice object.

All mentions of this object must include the word 'nice' in every sentence. If a subject doesn't use the term 'nice' when referring to the object, various incisions are made all over the body in the shape of the number 69. Similar effects occur if subjects don't say nice after reading the text on the card. The incisions are not fatal, and there are exactly 69 incisions for each time the term 'nice' is not used when referring to the object.
