Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained inside a fifty by fifty-centimeter box made of standard steel inside site 101. SCP-XXXX is not to be taken out of containment without clearance from personnel with level 3 clearance or higher. SCP-XXXX is not to be worn under any circumstances unless given direct permission from a member of personnel with level 5 clearance or higher.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 70s style kid’s toy space helmet made by Interstellar Toys Inc. From an outside view, SCP-XXXX looks like a normal white space helmet with exception of its visor which is completely opaque. Wearing SCP-XXXX will result in the wearer becoming increasingly disoriented and dizzy with added hallucinations. These hallucinations can sometimes result in subjects becoming aggressive and violent as they attempt to get rid of the hallucinations, see incident XXXX-A. Once worn the user inside SCP-XXXX will become unable to remove SCP-XXXX themselves and will become oblivious to all outside contact. Anyone viewing SCP-XXXX from the outside while someone is wearing it will see the outline of a pale white face staring back at them, the face is devoid of all emotion and does not seem to blink. Please note that no anomalous effects occur during or after viewing this. SCP-XXXX is made out of a plastic-like material that shares the same properties except for its strength. All attempts to make holes in SCP-XXXX have been unsuccessful because of this there is no current way to see inside SCP-XXXX without wearing it. Please note viewing helmet from the bottom reveals nothing but darkness even under high light intensity.
Addendum XXXX-1
SCP-XXXX was found inside a small suburban house in ###### after police were called to deal with an incident of domestic violence after it was reported by one of their neighbours. Police officers on the scene walked into the house to discover local ##### ####### wearing SCP-XXXX standing over the body of his wife. ##### ####### was detained and the foundation was contacted. Agents where sent to quickly replace SCP-XXXX with a copy and administer class 1 amnestics to all witnesses of the crime scene. ##### ####### is currently held in ####### mental hospital.
Addendum XXXX-2: Incident XXXX-A
During a test of the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX led by Dr Cullen the class D subject wearing SCP-XXXX started showing signs of dizziness and paranoia. This was then followed up by increased aggression towards all personnel. The subject was terminated after trying to attack one of the foundation security team.
