Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a soundproof glass case in a standard size concrete cell. No personnel may enter SCP-XXXX cell and open SCP-XXXX's glass case unless authorized by level 3 personnel or higher. SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a locked, soundproof, aluminum lined, steel box in a standard size concrete cell with a seven cm thick steel door. SCP-XXXX is to be guarded at all times and no personnel at anytime or for any reason should enter SCP-XXXX's cell with radio technology.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a moderately worn Silvertone (Sears) Model 4465 Tombstone Radio (1936). SCP-XXXX plays continuously and all attempts to turn it off, adjust its volume, or change its channel have failed. SCP-XXXX broadcasts a show called The Wild Endeavors of Yours Truly, a wild west themed radio show that briefly aired in 1935. The show is hosted by a man called Gilliam Grove Kelrey, who was the original host of the actual The Wild Endeavors of Yours Truly.

If a human listens to SCP-XXXX for over over two minutes, SCP-XXXX will translocate said subject into a dimension thought to reside in SCP-XXXX. All personnel who are transported to SCP-XXXX's dimension will stay inside the dimension and play roles inside SCP-XXXX.

When a object enters SCP-XXXX's audible range, SCP-XXXX-1 (Gilliam Grove Kelrey) will be able to notice said object. Personnel that had been transported into SCP-XXXX's dimension previously will appear in the show.

SCP-XXXX can send signals and will try to connect to any radio or speaker technology in its vicinity. If SCP-XXXX is recorded and then later played back no anomalous effects will appear.

Addendum 1: At the time of writing, two additional subjects have been added into the story. They are Capt. Buster Miller referred to as The Sheriff and D-3364 referred to as Emilia Clark (see Containment X and Test Log 1 for more details).

Addendum 2: SCP-XXXX now has 149 personnel contained inside its dimension as of 1-03-2018. SCP-XXXX's cell is no longer allowed access unless given permission by level 4 site administrator. All personnel who enter SCP-XXXX's cell must be interviewed and interrogated thoroughly beforehand (see Incident 43 for more details).

Foreword: An MTF unit lead by Capt. Buster Miller is sent inside a house thought to contain SCP-XXXX, they were tipped off by a agent in the area to search for a humanoid SCP.

Lt. Adams: Infiltrate the house, now.

MTF unit moves in, Capt. Miller is the first to enter

Capt. Miller: Hold!

Lt. Adams: What is it?

Capt. Miller: I hear something. I'm going to check it out, cover me.

Capt. Miller moves farther into the house and has the group hold right outside the door

Capt. Miller: I'm entering, hold here.

Capt. Miller enters the room housing SCP-XXXX and Capt. can now hear SCP-XXXX clearly

Lt. Adam: What is it, sir?

Capt. Miller: A radio, old. Don't come in yet, it doesn't feel right.

SCP-XXXX-1: It is I, the survivor of these savage lands and the civilized pillar of this society, Mr. Gilliam Grove Kelrey. Welcome to The Wild Endeavors of Yours Truly… It begins with the Sheriff, Mr. Buster Miller, the man of the town.

Capt. Miller: How the hell does this thing my name?

Lt. Adams: What did you say, sir?

Capt. Miller: Don't come in, I don't know how this thing knows who I am.

SCP-XXXX-1: This morning the sheriff left to investigate a house said to hold a bandit. The sheriff's deputies joined him. Where was this bandit he wondered?

Capt. Miller: Seriously, this is it?

SCP-XXXX-1: The sheriff became irritated and still could not realize it was me all along fooling him.

Capt. Miller: What the hell? Is this thing commentating on me?

Capt. Miller walks closer to inspect SCP-XXXX

SCP-XXXX-1: Walking further into the house the sheriff became even more puzzled by this, conundrum. How could, the smartest man in the west, stop me? Of course I could.

Capt. Miller goes behind SCP-XXXX and pulls out its plug but SCP-XXXX does not turn off

SCP-XXXX-1: Haha that will not work sheriff, try as you must.

Capt. Miller: How the heck is thing still on?

SCP-XXXX-1: Magic my friend, a little trade secret.

Lt. Adams: Captain, can we enter now?

15 seconds before 2 minutes is reached after initial hearing

Capt. Miller: Um, sure. This is weird man.

SCP-XXXX-1: Without looking Deputy Adams steps on a nail and fires his gun accidentally, barely missing the sheriff. If it was me I would've been able to put two between the eyes from the back, i'm goddamn beautiful.

Lt. Adams: Huh?

Lt. Adams steps on a nail and accidentally fires his gun, missing Capt. Miller by a few inches

Capt. Adams: Holy fuck!

Lt. Adams: Agh, My foot!

5 seconds before 2 minutes is reached after initial hearing

SCP-XXXX-1: It would seem that the great Gilliam Grove Kelrey fooled the men in the end, just as planned.

2 minutes are reached after initial hearing and Capt. Miller disappears

Lt. Adams: Captain!

Lt. Watson: Jesus christ, where did he go?

Lt. Adams: I-I don't know man?

Lt. Watson: What should we do?

Lt. Adams: Uh, we gotta contain it.

Lt. Watson: How the fuck are we supposed to do that! We might end up like Miller god damn it!

SCP-XXXX-1: I bet the sheriff doesn't have a clue as to who it is, ha! I even heard that they were from Yorkville, what a bunch of cowlickers. We all know Trentsy is the best town in all of the west.

Lt. Adams: Thats it, how did Miller disappear? Maybe it's because he heard?

Lt. Watson: Wait, yeah maybe. But still, what if you disappear like Miller back there?

Lt. Adams: Call backup then, I'm gonna go for it.

Lt. Watson: Fuck, ok. But how?

Lt. Adams puts on his earplugs and starts approaching SCP-XXXX with a containment box

Lt. Watson: You've got to be kidding.

SCP-XXXX-1: Hahahaha- oh no, why do the dumb ones always catch me.

Lt. Adams cannot hear SCP-XXXX and successfully contains SCP-XXXX

Lt. Adams: Got it. I got it guys, Jesus.

Closing Statement: When SCP-XXXX was put into foundation containment, the effects of SCP-XXXX was relayed to staff and SCP-XXXX was put into it's current containment pod. Afterwards, some staff were cleared for testing and tried changing channels but to no avail.

SCP-XXXX-1: Welcome back, I am your host Mr. Gilliam Grove Kelrey, the real man of the town hahaha. Welcome to The Wild Endeavors Of Yours Truly, and- hm? Who are you.

SCP-XXXX-1: Hello, are you a fan? townswomen? gasp Hit-women?

D-3364: Hey doc, what is this suppose to be?

SCP-XXXX-1: I could tell by the way she was dressed she was no ordinary woman, she was one of Mr. D's men.

Dr. █████: This is SCP-XXXX, it is a radio that broadcasts a radio show. You were briefed on this D-3364.

D-3364: I know just, this seems super plain.

SCP-XXXX-1: …. Plain…. The woman appeared to have no idea what talent is and was obviously trespassing. Though I do hate to do it I am contemplating calling the sheriff… Wait, where is the sheriff?

D-3364: What the heck is this thing saying?

SCP-XXXX-1: I'm speaking english, do you know of it? You appear confused, are you from Yorkville by chance?

D-3364: Ok, what fuck is going on. Doc?

SCP-XXXX-1: gasp A language problem, I see… Mr. D, why is she here?

Dr. █████: Continue listening to SCP-XXXX, do not ask any more questions.

SCP-XXXX-1: That is no way to talk to a lady Mr. D, however brutish they may be. Still, I will call the sheriff if you do not state your business.

D-3364: Umm…

SCP-XXXX-1: Thats it, I've had enough of you Yorkville people. SHERIFF!! footsteps

Capt. Miller: You're the one who put me here, you psychopath!

SCP-XXXX-1: Now now sheriff, I am not the problem here. This women is intruding into my studio.

Capt. Miller: I don't give a damn, now send me back!

SCP-XXXX-1: Where? Its only desert and plains for miles sheriff, what are you talking about?

Capt. Miller: sobs Damn it! sniffle The hell do want Gilliam…

SCP-XXXX-1: Her out, or whatever really. You never did tell me, Emilia, why you're here.

D-3364: What? Ho-how-

SCP-XXXX-1: Do I know your name? Silly, I know everyone in the west. from Hobo Johnson to Mayor Smith of shudder Yorktown.

Capt. Miller: Fine, I'll get her out of here. But you gotta send me back Gilliam!

SCP-XXXX-1: Still have no idea what you're talking about sheriff.

two minutes pass since subject listened to SCP-XXXX and D-3364 disappears along with her tracker signal

Dr. █████: D-3364, respond. D-3364, respond!

Closing Statement: After the test ends a squad is sent in to close SCP-XXXX case. It is speculated that SCP-XXXX transports affected subjects to a different dimension. It would also seem that subjects cannot leave said dimension. (Note: High tier SCP's will be transported through the facility soon and testing must be completed or halted soon for safety.)

Foreword: The last minor test of SCP-XXXX's radio capabilities is performed before the SCP's enter the facility and two guards are sent in to close SCP-XXXX's case. (Note: Multiple Insurgency sightings had been reported weeks prior.)

Dr. █████: Enter XXXX's containment area and close its case.

Guard 1: Roger.

SCP-XXXX-1: Welcome back to The Wild Endeavors of Yours Truly, I am your host Gilliam Grove Kelrey, the lion of love and today we focus on a story of betrayal. Mr. D a well known leader of the town hired two men to shut of my studio, once more.

Guard 1 moves forward to close SCP-XXXX's case

Guard 2: Hold up, you dropped something.

Guard 1: What did I drop?

SCP-XXXX-1: Except this time, he hired wrong.

Guard 2: This.

Guard 2 pulls out his gun and shoots guard 1 in the chest, killing him

Dr. █████: What the hell!

SCP-XXXX-1: The second hired gun shot his partner and for some odd reason left me, but it appeared not my turn to be shutdown but Mr. D's. He had a long run and a quite successful one at that but all things must come down from their high eventually.

Unknown: Bye bye Dr. █████.

An unknown assailant shoots Dr. █████ in the head twice killing him instantly

Unknown: Come on, phase two.

SCP-XXXX-1: Another hitman took out Mr. D for good and that was the end of Mr. D's power.

Unknown: Copy that.

the unknown man disables the wing's radio jammer enabling SCP-XXXX to connect to the site speakers, luckily he only disabled wing B's jammer and in turn SCP-XXXX was only heard in wing B

SCP-XXXX-1: Looks like i'm free boys! Emilia call Mayor Smith, Trentsy just shat on Yorkville, We need a clean up crew. Hahaha WERE LIVE!!!

Afterword: The Chaos Insurgency had infiltrated the facility and broadcasted SCP-XXXX causing 147 personnel to go missing and 4 SCP's to be captured by the insurgency, all SCP's are unaccounted for. Fortunately, SCP-XXXX was only broadcasted on the B wing speakers so the rest of the facility was not affected by SCP-XXXX. It took two whole minutes for the alarms to sound as they had been disabled by the unknown man, and only after those two minutes did a scientist manually switch on the alarm. SCP-XXXX now contains 149 known personnel inside its dimension. It is thought that the insurgency attacked due to multiple high level SCP's being contained at the site though none of the SCP's being transported was captured, it is also probable they conducted this attack so as to distract Foundation forces though it is still unclear as to why.

Foreword: A microphone is placed inside SCP-XXXX's cell and SCP-XXXX's case is opened. All jammers are operational and there is no connection to site faculties and the microphone. All dialogue is played back and not listened to live.

D-3364: Where are we?

SCP-XXXX-1: I swear you've asked me this countless times! Emilia, we are in the west of the great big ol' America. Why do you ask?

D-3364: How can you not know? We're not in the west! We're in a goddamn radio Kelrey, and this fucking place is locked up in a giant ass secret facility!

SCP-XXXX-1: Emilia, calm down. I get that you may not like Trentsy but it is a lot better than Yorkville, trust me.

D-3364: Godda- Oh fuck you Gilliam, you and your stupid show. Can't you see!… Why can't you see…

SCP-XXXX-1:…

D-3364: I'm heading home, see you tomorrow Gilliam.

footsteps recede and a door is shut

SCP-XXXX-1: … Back to the program. It appears some fights have occurred in Trentsy, The occurrence BEARing down on the town. Yes it's true, the sheriff has done it once again. Early this morning the sheriff encountered a pack of bears, they challenged Mr. Miller to a duel and he swiftly took out the first challenger. The next fight is scheduled for Wednesday at 5:00 pm so get your tickets. In other news, since the arrival of the new settlers Trentsy has been quite lively. A newcomer, Mr Johnson, has stated many times at the local town scorpion ring that sacrificing rabbits to appease the sun gods is "wrong". Hahaha, well he'll get used to it… Or won't. He has also gathered a small band of the new arrivals and is protesting on the streets right now saying such things as "We're trapped here, let us out." and "This isn't what you think it is." Now I know many of you may say "Well he must be lunatic." but maybe there is some truth, or he's from Yorkville, anyways we must know.
