Class: Safe

Containment procedures:
SCP-#### Is to be kept in a radiation-shielded box, currently housed in Site-64. It is only to be handled with personnel wearing a level B or higher hazmat suit, and is to be turned on for no longer than 10 minutes due to the radiation risk it possesses. After testing, staff involved may not test with SCP-#### for 6 months to limit exposure. Care is to be taken to avoid damaging SCP-#### in any way.

Description:
SCP-#### Is a three-mode flashlight. Upon being powered, does not emit visible light, but rather gamma radiation. SCP-#### Produces 100 Roentgens on its lowest setting, 1,000 Roentgens on medium, and 100,000 Roentgens on high.

If SCP-#### sustains damage the subject nearest to the item begins to age at an accelerated rate equivalent to 1 year per day. Analysis has shown that SCP-####-1's own body cells have an extremely high tolerance to all forms of radiation.

SCP-#### was discovered on 06/11/2014, in an apartment in downtown Pittsburgh. Prior to foundation involvement and seizure of the item, Local police were notified of a large party. When police did not receive any response after knocking, they entered, despite lacking a warrant. Upon entering, the two officers encountered party goers suffering from acute radiation sickness. An ambulance was called, as the officers proposed they were suffering alcohol toxicity. After reaching the hospital, the officers began exhibiting signs of radiation sickness as well, and foundation personnel were notified upon hospital staff developing radiation sickness. After thorough investigation, the cause was narrowed down to the flashlight.
