Item #: SCP-XXXX (Headlight/Solitary Confinement)
Object Class: Euclid Safe
Maybe replace with ACS?
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X is to be contained in an opaque metal box held in secure anomaly storage. SCP-X should never be inventoried while inside of secure anomaly storage. Staff interacting with SCP-X should never observe it directly unless through a light-restricting medium. If removed from its container, SCP-X should not be placed on or within line-of-sight of flammable materials. Staff should minimize exposure to SCP-X and wear heat resistant clothing and gloves when within line-of-sight of or handling SCP-X.
Description: SCP-X is a Lumos brand halogen headlight bulb. It is able to light itself independently of any command or power source. The intensity, beam size, and beam orientation of light emitted by SCP-X are variable and unpredictable. Light may emit from the filament of SCP-X in any or all directions. The intensity of the light emitted by SCP-X generally correlates with the size of the beam emitted however this is not consistent. With a tight beam, SCP-X has been seen to ignite, melt, or burn flammable objects and other materials including but not limited to paper, polyester, cardboard, plywood, human hair, and human skin.
Discovery: Blah Blah Found by a Foundation researcher on [REDACTED]/Full Blocked date on an abandoned car down the street from their private residence. Dodge Spirit License plate: AW3-C73T (Too on the nose?). Made initial object documentation at home recommended object class Euclid. Blah Blah Blah transferred to Site-XX. A cursory examination by site researchers led to SCP-X's redesignation as Safe and transfer to Benign Anomaly Storage.
