Special Containment Procedures: The "entrance" to SCP-5242 is to be kept at Site-██. Under no circumstances must SCP-5242 be moved, unless a containment breach occurs. If SCP-5242 must be relocated to another Site, then Procedure Theta-27 must be enacted in accordance to the procedure. Procedure Theta-27, if enacted, will [Data Redacted] and will then reappear in a 100 kilometer radius.
However, if SCP-5242 falls into the hands of either a D-class or anyone who does not have the clearance to access SCP-5242, then Procedure Theta-35 will be enacted. Procedures include [Data Redacted], and will then be retrieved by MTF ████-8. Only those with a Level-3 clearance or above, or instances of SCP-5242 (though watched by a security guard) may access SCP-5242.
Description: SCP-5242 is an entrance to an alternate universe where no anomalies exist whatsoever. However, the alternate universe (known as SCP-5242-A) has technology that is sufficiently greater than ours, to the point that it almost seems like an anomaly itself.
Over the past few years, from 10/24/██ to 6/30/██, several individuals have crossed over to this universe, which prompted immediate action from the SCP Foundation to watch for any other instances of SCP-5242-A crossing over into our universe. Currently, SCP-5242 is the only known entrance-or exit-in or out of our universe, though researchers are still searching for any possibility of other entrances.
These instances include:
-SCP-5242-1: "Michael"
-SCP-5242-2: "Aaron"
-SCP-5242-3:
-SCP-5242-4:
-SCP-5242-5:
-SCP-5242-6:
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5242 is to be implemented with a tracking device on its collar and is to be contained at Site-17. Subject is to be watched with a camera at all times, with two guards watching him, rotating out of duty every six hours. SCP-5242 is to be allowed Class 3 (restricted) socialization with other SCP's, workers, and doctors.
As of 3/24/██, SCP-5242 is not allowed to socialize in any way, due to the events of SCP-5242-D.
However, reasonable requests from SCP-5242 is allowed. These requests include the following:
-Books containing various topics, including philosophy, history, science fiction, and fantasy (approved)
-A chess board and pieces (approved)
-A computer solely to create apps and programs (pending)
-Access to various SCP's of his choice (denied)
-A bookshelf (approved)
SCP-5242-1 is usually content to stay in its room, stating that it's "quite comfy, cozy, and somewhat warm."
Description: SCP-5242-1 is a human male of Asian/Caucasian descent. SCP-5242-1 has jet-black hair with bright blue eyes, and is about 170 centimeters tall. Although its biological age is shown to be approximately 14-16, it has shown to have substantial mental growth and an understanding of things far beyond that what other normal people twice its age knows and/or understands. Currently, there are no known records that have his birth certificate or name of parents. Upon arrival, however, SCP-5242-1 has claimed that it was born on 10/23/██ and his parents are [Data Redacted]. Currently, its two parents have not been found yet.
What makes SCP-5242-1 an anomaly is that it is classified as a "hypergenius", which was coined by Dr. ██████. SCP-5242-1 has an IQ that reaches into the thousands and has the ability to copy whatever someone is doing and improve on it just at a glance. However, other than its substantially increased mental capacity, it is, in short, a perfectly normal human being with normal health. The only downside to SCP-5242-1 is that it usually refuses to aid the Foundation, unless "I want to, some SCP asks me to, or the world is ending," to quote SCP-5242-1.
Interviews with SCP-5242-1 have shown that it comes from an alternate universe. However, the SCP Foundation does not exist in this alternate universe in a sense, as there are no anomalies that need to be contained. SCP-5242-1's universe technically does have an SCP Foundation, but it is merely, in its universe, a fictional website collaboration. After reviewing and comparing containment reports from SCP-5242-1's universe and our universe through SCP-█████, they are shown to be the exact same, with the exception of his universe not having the full reports, but rather the declassified versions. This is not a security breach, as SCP-5242 already knows about the Foundation even before it came here.
Addendum 1: SCP-5242-1 was brought to Foundation attention in [Data Redacted] on 6/30/████. There had been reports to the police of a teenage boy in the forest nearby, staring at said subject for a few seconds, then disappearing back into the forest. The police were unable to find the teenager. What prompted Foundation mobilization was that he had been reported to be emitting some sort of glow at night (it was later found out to be a side effect of one of his experiments). The Foundation first saw him when he was attempting to create cold fusion using a limited amount of materials, such as aluminum, glass, and [Data Redacted]. He has evaded the Foundation several more times, outsmarting even the smartest of Foundation personnel multiple times. He was finally brought into Foundation custody on 8/25/████.
Mission Debriefing from Agent ████:
Interviewed: Agent ████
Interviewer: Dr. ████
Foreword: Mission Debriefing from Agent ████ to Dr. ████.
<Begin Log>
Dr. ████: So what happened on the field?
Agent ████: We originally thought this was going to be a piece of cake. I mean, he was only one guy-extremely smart, but still one person. What we didn't take into account was that that guy knew the terrain like the back of his hand. He set up traps-nonlethal ones, thank goodness-that we had a hard time getting out of, allowing him to escape. That was a very stupid mistake on our part.
Dr. ████: So how did he get into your custody?
Agent ████: Here's the weird part. We decided on splitting up to cover more ground. It was only fifteen minutes after we split up when he just… appeared in front of me.
Dr. ████: What?
Agent ████: No, not like "poof". He explained that it was a mix of hydraulics and [Data Redacted]. That's when I knew that he was something that we should've actually prepared for in advance, not like doing a normal "collection" mission. The thing he used to "pop" out was basically an anomaly itself, but again, as he explained, any sufficiently advanced machine could be magic to our eyes.
Dr. ████: So did he try to escape?
Agent ████: No, actually, we talked for a bit more. He told me about how he was from another universe that had our reports for everyone to see, and he memorized almost every SCP report. Well, at least until "Series Five" as he calls it. He says that it wasn't filled with SCP's fully, so he had bits of information missing. He says his favorites are 173, 096, 105, 073, and 076. After I told him that I was from the Foundation, he offered to willingly submit.
Dr. ████: That's fortunate on your part. Is there anything else you'd like to share with us?
Agent ████: Yes, actually. Now that I think about it, he mentioned that he wasn't the only one from his world. Quoting him, he said "Of course, being the fact that me and my friends were separated at the start, I'm most likely the only one you'll see in a while." This leads me to believe that he-or some other force-accidently or purposely sent him and his friends to this universe.
**Dr. ████: So there's more of them? Dang it, just when I thought that I could go home for Christmas.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: On 9/13/██, SCP-5242-1 has given away hints as where it thinks its friends might be, including Hong Kong, the Western Coast of the United States, and Seoul.
Interviewed: SCP-5242-1
Interviewer: Dr. ████
Foreword: Interview between SCP-5242-1 and Dr. ████ concerning SCP-5242's associates
<Begin Log>
Dr. ████: Can you describe to us your associates and how many crossed over to here?
SCP-5242-1: Sure. I can say for sure that five other people crossed over with me. There's David, Ellie, Aaron, Sophie, and Comet. Yeah, the last one is her nickname. Never bothered to learn her real name for some reason.
Dr. ████: I see. Can you describe to me what each one looks like?
SCP-5242-1: Yeah, I can do that, though I'm not sure how it would help. David is Caucasian, with dirty blonde hair and red eyes. Ellie is Asian, with black hair and brown eyes. Aaron is a mix of Caucasian and Asian, like me. He has black hair, but he has blue eyes. Sophie is a mix of black and Caucasian, with blue hair-dyed, of course-and orange-like eyes. Comet is a mix of Asian and black, and she actually has different colored eyes. One's blue, and the other's brown.
Dr. ████: Do you have any idea where they might be right now?
SCP-5242-1: Unfortunately not. The most I can probably predict is that they probably made their way to their favorite places, like I did. Always liked [Data Redacted] myself. Aaron could be in either Tokyo or Seoul. Ellie could be in Hong Kong. Sophie always liked the Outback, so probably somewhere in Australia. Comet always liked the stars, so maybe a rural town or village, where the air pollution wouldn't block the stars shining. Sophie could be on the West Coast of the United States-she always liked the Pacific for some reason-but I would guess… Seattle?
Dr. ████: And how old are all of you?
SCP-5242-1: It ranges from 14-18.
Dr. ████: I see. How did you manage to arrive at [Data Redacted]?
SCP-5242-1: Thankfully, I was at the next town over. So, it was a simple matter of walking for maybe 20 miles or so.
Dr. ████: Understandable. Were you always this smart, or were you… average? And do the others have abilities like yours?
SCP-5242-1: … Sorry, but I'm not giving that information freely. I also do not know whether or not my friends have abilities similar to mine or are completely different.
Dr. ████: Very well. How did you arrive in this universe? How do we know that you are from another universe and that you weren't an experiment in this universe? How do we know that you aren't a spy?
SCP-5242-1: I'm going to answer the third question first. I'm going to need my phone for this, though. Do you mind? I know you have it in a storage room somewhere close to here.
Dr. ████: Very well. (Motions to guards to retrieve SCP-5242's phone) Here you go.
SCP-5242-1: Thank you. (Unlocks phone and then accesses the gallery app on the phone) Just a little bit… there. (Holds up the phone for Dr. ████ to see) The URL should be enough, and the fact that I'm accessing something that should be for Level 3 eyes only. (Gives phone back to Dr. ████) As for arriving here… (SCP-5242-1 looks thoughtful). I'm sorry. The most I will say is that it was not due to some magic circle or ritual, like you're thinking right now. And now (SCP-5242-1 stands up) I will take my cue. Oh, and one more thing.
Dr. ████: Yes?
SCP-5242-1: If you manage to find my friends, don't cut off contact between me and them. They are pretty much all I have and know in this universe. I may be an Euclid-class SCP, but that doesn't mean I should be locked up without contact.
<End Log>Closing Statement: SCP-5242-1 seems to deliberately hold back information for the sake of someone else. All actions to locate the other individuals should be taken immediately.
Addendum 2: With numerous IQ tests, both publicly known and ones created by the SCP Foundation, the tests have concluded that SCP-5242-1's IQ is at the 2000 mark, making SCP-5242-1 the smartest person in the world. To date, he has, with materials given by the Foundation for SCP-5242-1's personal use, created what will be known as SCP-5242-1-A, SCP-5242-1-B, and SCP-5242-1-C, through inspiration from the corrupted form of SCP-547-D.
//So… You're telling me that that //
Item #: SCP-5242-1-A
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: As of 8/12/████, SCP-5242-1 is to keep SCP-5242-1-A for itself. Therefore, it is not to have a special containment procedures of its own, but rather to be kept on or near SCP-5242-1 at all times, in the case of a containment breach. SCP-5242-1-A is to be kept in storage, due to the events of SCP-5242-1-C.
Description: SCP-5242-1-A is a right-hand gauntlet specifically fitted to SCP-5242-1. The gauntlet is supposedly made of unknown metals, but on further examination of the gauntlet, which SCP-5242-1 refers to as "Mark II", it appears as if the gauntlet is made of a mixture of various alloys, including titanium, gold, platinum, and [Data Redacted]. What makes the gauntlet an anomaly is that, when making specific hand gestures, SCP-5242-1-A will react in an anomalous fashion, such as granting the user super strength and the ability to shoot beams of focused light, with no external or internal energy storage container anywhere on the device.
Below is a detailed and complete list of what SCP-5242-1-A can do:
Super Strength: When SCP-5242-1 makes a fist with the gauntlet, the gauntlet will emit a dark purple glow that can amplify the user's strength by ten times their usual strength. However, it can only be used for a minute at most, and this ability can only be used once every 16 hours, as the gauntlet will immediately cease to glow after the minute has passed, effectively putting SCP-5242-1 back to its normal strength. If it attempts to make a fist with the gauntlet, nothing will happen.
Light Ray: When SCP-5242-1 points its forefinger towards anything that can be considered a threat, the gauntlet will glow a deep shade of red, and a beam of focused light will be emitted from the forefinger. The laser has been shown to be able to cut through a 3x3x3 cube of titanium in approximately ten seconds. However, this can only be done three times every 15 hours, and the longest the laser can be fired is only about 30 seconds. If SCP-5242-1 attempts to fire a laser during the cooldown period, nothing will happen.
Sword: When SCP-5242-1 makes a knife hand gesture with his gauntlet, the gauntlet will begin to emit a soft light blue tone, and a sword made of plasma will appear, which SCP-5242-1 can either hold in his gauntlet hand or turn into a pair of short swords. The sword is exactly one meter long, and the pair of swords are approximately 0.6 meters long. The plasma swords do not harm SCP-5242-1 if he wears a glove, nor does it damage SCP-5242-1-A, but if anyone else attempts to hold the swords, the plasma will then proceed to melt through their hand, glove on or not, due to the superheated aspects of plasma. This ability can be used anytime SCP-5242-1 desires so
Addendum 2-1: On 4/14/████, SCP-5242-1 demonstrated SCP-5242-1-A's destructive capabilities by managing to separate a concrete wall in only five seconds. Further testing cannot be done, as SCP-5242-1 refused to test SCP-5242-1-A again.
Interviewed: SCP-5242-1
Interviewer: Dr. ████
Foreword: Interview between SCP-5242-1 and Dr. ████ about the aspects of SCP-5242-1-A
<Begin Log>
Dr. ████: Why don't you want to share its capabilities again? You know how much the Foundation could benefit from-
SCP-5242-1: Don't think me as an idiot, Dr. ████. I wasn't born this morning, you know. If I do it again, you guys will force me to do it again, or worse yet, give it to you. It's my own creation, and I don't want it to be turned into a weapon of war. This thing is for self-defense only, unless I say otherwise.
Dr. ████: So, does that mean that-?
SCP-5242-1: Look, I'll gladly give you a prototype of the gauntlet, and that's all you're getting. Granted, nobody can wear it now, due to it being surrounded by a force field of plasma- that was a small mistake on my part with trying to modify the now unusable shield system-but if you can figure out how to access the prototype and use it for your own uses without burning off your hands, then I won't complain. Don't come running back to me if you can't crack it, though.
Dr. ████: Very well.
SCP-5242-1: Good. [SCP-5242-1 stands up and stretches] I believe this interview is now over.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: The prototype that SCP-5242-1 gave us is still encased in its force field. No matter how many ways we attempt to deactivate the plasma shield surrounding it, the force field is still operational.
Item #: SCP-5242-1-B
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: As of 1/3/████, SCP-5242-1 is to keep SCP-5242-1-B. Therefore, it is not to have a special containment procedures of its own, but rather to be kept on or near SCP-5242-1 at all times, in the case of a containment breach. Due to the events of SCP-5242-1-C, SCP-5242-1-B is to be kept in storage with SCP-5242-1-A.
Description: SCP-5242-1-B is a circular shield made of different alloys, including titanium, platinum, and [Data Expunged]. Its radius is approximately 0.5 meters long, therefore only completely shielding the forearm, the hand, and part of the elbow. SCP-5242-1-B is completely impervious to any damage of any kind, including [Data Expunged]. SCP-5242-1-B is also capable of absorbing all impact, shock, and knockback, instead using the energy collected from the impact, shock, and knockback to power a secondary "light shield" encasing the original shield.
Addendum 2-2: SCP-5242-1-B is capable of many things, but SCP-5242-1 refuses to let us study the shield or even test the shield. At this point, personnel are considering raiding SCP-5242-1's containment chamber to retrieve the anomalies.
Note: Is anyone else realizing the irony of this situation? We want to raid one of our own rooms for something that we provided the materials for. Hyper smarts or not, we do need the technologies.
-Dr. ██████
Item #: SCP-5242-1-C
Object Class: Safe Neutralized
Special Containment Procedures: As of 7/29/████, SCP-5242-1-C is to be in Foundation personnel's hands. As of 3/24/████, no special containment procedures are to be implanted.
Description: SCP-5242-1-C is a pack of pills that, when ingested, increase anyone's healing speed by a factor of [Data Expunged]. Ingredients to make SCP-5242-1-C include [Data Expunged]. SCP-5242-1, after much persuasion, had agreed to give the pills to the Foundation, but only after making a deal with the Foundation to only use the pills in the worst-case scenario. All doses of SCP-5242-1-C are to be immediately turned into the Foundation to be incinerated.
SCP-5242-1-C is a pack of pills that, when ingesting one pill, increase anyone's healing speed by a factor of [Data Expunged]. However, the person ingesting the pill will start to age at 75 times the speed proportional to the seriousness of the injury.
Addendum 2-3: I guess even geniuses can make mistakes sometimes. However, as a precaution and a warning so SCP-5242-1 doesn't make this happen again, it is to be kept in his containment chamber, with no access to the outside world or socialization. This nearly killed our best agents, researchers, and doctors, damn it, so we need to make sure this doesn't happen again. - Note from Doctor ████████
Addendum 3: As of 6/23/████, SCP-5242 has stated that it wished to join Alpha-9. Knowledge of this MTF is not to be considered a containment breach, as SCP-5242 already had knowledge of Alpha-9 prior to arriving in this universe.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5242-2 is to be in a containment chamber adjacent from SCP-5242-1's containment chamber. Also, SCP-5242-2 is allowed one hour of socializing with SCP-5242-1 each week.
