Special Containment Procedures: Due to the immobile nature and its gradually expanding border, SCP-XXXX is to be guarded by Foundation guards and vehicles constantly in a 100 meter distance from the border of SCP-XXXX. As of now, the border of SCP-XXXX is nearly 1200 kilometers North away from the nearest town of Roslava, Russia.

The citizens of Roslava were ordered to evacuate out of the town under the guise of a chemical leak that has contaminated the water supply. Site-25 has been constructed inside the town, where research of SCP-XXXX is being conducted.

No personnel is allowed to enter SCP-XXXX's area. Additionally, testing that can result in death of human subjects is not permitted within at least 3000 kilometers from the border of SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a remote swamp of a circular shape of 300 kilometers in diameter as of 4/10/20██. It is a sub-region of the ██████ ███████ located in Russia.

SCP-XXXX has a very muddy flooring, typical of low wetland regions. SCP-XXXX emits sulfur dioxide gasses from small, porous openings in the ground that are found throughout its terrain. It is currently unknown how SCP-XXXX emits sulfur dioxide gasses without any subterranean connection to gaseous vents.

The the only vegetation identified in SCP-XXXXX, apart from SCP-XXXX-1, is a species of crimson pigmented grass and trees designated SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3. SCP-XXXX-2 is nearly identical to carex pendula1, and SCP-XXXX-3 is to taxodium distichum2. The key difference between the species inside SCP-XXXX from the standard species is that it is able to use the sulfur dioxide gasses and lower amounts of sunlight exposure to photosynthesize.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a vine-like plant that resides in SCP-XXXX.
