Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Thaumiel Neutralized

SCP-XXXX-1

SCP-XXXX-1

Special Containment Procedures: All anomalies and personnel that were previously located or stationed at Site-117, are to be sent into Site-180 for monitoring. By order of the on-site Ethics Committee, subjects of sufficiently severe cases of SCP-XXXX-1 may require authorization to view.

Following the mass cell death of all SCP-XXXX-1 instances, Site-117 is to be reclaimed and on-site work is to resume as normal.

SCP-XXXX's cadaver has been incinerated and is maintained in a lead-lined urn within Anomalous Storage Area ██.

Description: SCP-XXXX was an Asian female, Physically 25 years of age, and roughly 1.63 meters in height, prior to Neutralization. SCP-XXXX was the first known subject infected with SCP-XXXX-1, and the only subject able to manifest SCP-XXXX-1 through bodily fluids. SCP-XXXX possessed no other anomalous property or ability aside from the circumstances surrounding SCP-XXXX-1's neutralization.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a rapidly multiplying bacteria capable of neutralizing all other forms of microscopic bacteria or life. Bacteria that have been neutralized by SCP-XXXX-1 will be absorbed and processed into more instances of SCP-XXXX-1, which will begin to multiply. Certain SCP-XXXX-1 strains have shown to be able to infect humans, such as Strain XXXX-1-AB13, Strain XXXX-1-AB16, and Strain XXXX-1-EC09. Each strain capable of infecting humans have presented the same long term and short term symptoms.

SCP-XXXX-1 Short Term Effects:

  • Flu like symptoms
  • Temporary vision loss
  • Skin irritation
  • Eternal bleeding
  • Inflammation
  • Gangrene

SCP-XXXX-1 Long Term Effects:

  • Dementia
  • Permanent vision loss
  • Fatal Necrosis
  • Total organ failure
  • Muscle atrophy
  • Mutation
  • Death

SCP-XXXX was the first known subject to survive infection beyond 1 month. All other subjects diagnosed with contagious strains of SCP-XXXX-1 (aside from Strain XXXX-1-XX01), usually died within 30 days.

On 06/11/2017 SCP-XXXX died from the long term effects of SCP-XXXX-1. Further examination of SCP-XXXX's cadaver showed major severe bleeding located within vital organs. Subject also showed signs of late stage dementia.

Addendum XXXX.1: Strain XXXX-1-XX01

On 06/08/2017 foundation personnel became aware of Strain XXXX-1-XX01, a dormant strain of SCP-XXXX-1 capable of infested non living material. 3 hours post SCP-XXXX's termination all SCP-XXXX-1 instances became an instance of Strain XXXX-1-XX01. Due to Strain XXXX-1-XX01's unknown variations from other contagious forms of SCP-XXXX-1, the Site-117 director ordered that All anomalies and personnel that were previously located or stationed at Site-117, are to be sent into Site-180 for monitoring.

6 months after the quarantine of said subjects all SCP-XXXX-1 instances ceased to exist, the cause of this event is still unknown and under investigation.

Addendum XXXX.2: Former Sanitation Use

Due to SCP-XXXX-1's ability to create mass cell death onto any living organism. SCP-XXXX-1 was formerly used as a predominant sanitation tool for the various biohazardous anomalies located at Site-117. Janitorial use was limited to authorized Janitors and Sanitation teams after Dr Ralph Lloyd claimed SCP-XXXX-1 to be a miracle cure for █████, proof of this is non existent.
