Containment procedures: SCP(XXXX) is to be contained in a 25mx25mx25m area with the cealing of reinforced steel. the Handle must be turned by a new personell every day. failiure to successfully spin the handle after a 24 hour course may result into a keter(can you do this? no right?) class breach.
Description: SCP (XXXX) is a rusty (5 by 5 by 5 meter) metal box reminescent from the industrial revolution. this metal box has a handle which inexplicably "seduces" every living organism to spin it(remembering its a jack in the box Xtra large) as this organism holds onto the handle, he will experience intense fear and paranoia having even illusions of what it fears the most. as soon as the organism withdraw the hand (or jaw) from it, it will colapse onto the ground like if it was some sort of biological doll. Dissecting these corpses reveal the absence of heart(relates to scp which is an house and removes hearts as well)
the only way to live by touching the handle is by spinning it constantly, where it will start to emit a tune similar to a lullaby(like jack in the box ussually do), but it is discribed to be different from anny lulluby heard before and it is also described as terrifying by some of the D class personnel who experienced the event. the handle must never be turned too slow as when you touch the handle, your heart suddenly becomes connected with this SCP making it your heart and so turning it too slow will make your heart will cease to beat. also never attempt to turn it too fast, as it will result in a cardiac arrest to whoever is touching the handle.
after an estimate of 30 to 45 min, the box will violently open. the holder of the handle is still to not stop as if he withdraws the hand, he dies.
after this event, a giant,rotten human hand(plz help me to estimate the size) is to leave the opening of the box and drop a copy of the person wielding the handle some copies can go up to 5 hearts and retract back to the box.
when this happens, the lid of the box will slowly close. when fully closed, the handle will burn the wielders hand(or mouth, depending if its a creature or not). this burning WILL make the wielder remove their limb from the handle howeaver, the wielder wont die and will cease to have the desire to touching that handle ever agein
ps: when an organism tries to touch the handle agein, nothing will happen.
side note:
there should be an event where the hand flings out the corpse of a personnel related to another scp.
the hand will then try to break containment, but is unable due to its proportions compared with the box and will retract back into it. anny personnel who witnessed this event had their heart ripped out from what would be their own shadow
there should be another event where they try to go in the box. attempt was met with success howeaver, return was met with faliure and records were unnacessible.
second attempt had a succsessful entering and leaving. howeaver, the D-class exposed to the inside of the box became suicidal, ending its own life by touching and withdrawing from the handle. Recordings of the expedition were found, but, whoever looked at this recording have become lunatic. the tape was later classified SCP(XXXX)-1
