Description: SCP-XXXX-EX is a series of five common discoveries among advanced alien life forms that result in cosmic suicide in 87% of known cases. SCP-XXXX-EX is inevitably discovered by all societies that enter an information age or beyond. Humanity has discovered all five SCP-XXXX-EX examples and successfully surpassed them.SCP-XXXX-EX needs to be discovered on a massive scale after a given species has gained the ability to destroy itself for a cosmic suicide to occur and if a species discovers any instance of SCP-XXXX-EX before this point it becomes exponentially less likely for the species to destroy itself after discovering another instance for each instance that is discovered.

The five SCP-XXXX-EX instances are as follows.¹

• SCP-XXXX-EX-1 is the general alteration limit constant which is often referred to as the hume resistance threshold.
• SCP-XXXX-EX-2 is the thermodynamic anomaly non-reactivity principle.
• SCP-XXXX-EX-3 is the organic quantum irrelevance principle, often referred to as the quark identicality principle.
• SCP-XXXX-EX-4 is the non-zero non-local inhabitance ratio.
• SCP-XXXX-EX-5 is the non-finite societal variety principle.
