Object Number: SCP-xxxx
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be kept on a triple encrypted server at Site 13. Routine checks are to be made by MTF-Zeta 70 to ensure no outside traffic on separate networks weaken or break through any layer of encryption. Thus, the codes need to be altered via an algorithm every hour. The contents of SCP-xxxx need to be continually monitored for any changes, and those changes are to be documented and given to the Head Researcher.
Description: SCP-xxxx is an open source writing document, only accessible through a link in the “Technology” section of 4chan. The thread in which the Anonymous poster of link has been sealed off from the rest of the site by the MTF-Zeta 70 [REDACTED] using numerous encryption techniques and constantly changing code ciphers.
The software which the document itself resides doesn’t appear to be connected to any databases owned by companies who allow web-based office suites - implicating that SCP-xxxx is on a completely separate piece of computer software. Currently, members of MTF-Zeta 70 have estimated the presence of nearly 3 trillion separate pages, with nearly 300 words on each page. There are no discernable sections - though at irregular intervals in the text - another link appears. This link redirects the user to another page with more links leading to more documents filled with text. This supplementary directory has since been classified as SCP-xxxx-1.
The content of SCP-xxxx and SCP-xxxx-1 appears to be a story written in the first person. Using a built in search function for key words and page numbers in the document, researchers have determined that the first 15500 pages describe in detail what seems to be the Big Bang and the immediate moments afterward. From what has been analysed, little to no information at all is given about the “protagonist” in which it is written from the perspective of. Further reading of other sections of the document has shown the “protagonist” observing and providing commentary on numerous historical events, though they never interact with any of the numerous people mentioned.
MTF-Zeta 70 ran a program through the document to find the most recent page. After nearly 10 hours of running the program, it has shown that the latest page is the Protagonist observing U.S President Donald Trump leaving his Helicopter to enter the White House after being discharged from the Hospital while infected with COVID-19. The implications of this are concerning Foundation Personnel, as the original poster of the link to 4Chan did so in April 2007. (The document is subject to change and information here may not be fully up to date).
Addendum - 1: Preliminary readings of the extensive documents located SCP-xxxx-1 are almost biographical in nature; though written as though it was a narrative story Bizarrely, there is never a point in which jumps are made between events in the stories depicted. While most novels - and indeed auto-biographies and biographies - jump between major events to provide pace and move the story forward, SCP-xxxx-1’s documents exhaustively detail every single action and the person's thoughts and feelings during that action.
Addendum - 2: Debates about reclassing SCP-xxxx as “Keter” have unexpectedly occurred. It has been determined that all documents within SCP-xxxx-1 are of real human individuals, some of whom are staff at the SCP Foundation itself. The Foundation personnel were forced to read some of their own documents, and 5 out of the 7 individuals were extremely distraught and exhibited high levels of stress and paranoia. Class B amnestics were administered to those affected. MTF-Zeta 70 was commissioned to thoroughly analyse and monitor the staff members' documents. The O5 Council then banned any further work on documents pertaining to individuals who didn’t have affiliation to the Foundation, despite some protest.
Addendum - 3: 4 more documents detailing the lives of SCP Staff members have been identified. MTF-Zeta 70 has now isolated the 4chan thread onto a private, encrypted server created for the sole purpose of containing and allowing continuous monitoring of SCP-xxxx. At irregular intervals, the main text of SCP-xxxx and the subsequent texts inside SCP-xxxx-1 are updated with new information. It is not a singular event, and no discernable pattern has yet to be distinguished. MTF-Zeta 70 has reported the updates similar to website algorithms such as Youtube; though the complexity of the text and the sheer amount of information would be impossible for even the most advanced supercomputers to process. Disturbingly, the added text on all monitored passages have been reviewed by the persons in question and one described the passages as “terrifyingly accurate”.
Addendum - 4: The Head Researcher overseeing SCP-xxxx has given permission to begin further testing in regards to any previously unknown anomalous properties. While attempts to manually begin a separate document have been fruitless, a D-Class person had their document altered and changed. Overseen by the individual, a member of MTF-Zeta 70 wrote a 4 line paragraph in which the Staff member in question would experience a minor car accident.
Roughly 13 hours after the inception of the paragraph, the staff member was hit in a minor car accident while leaving Site 13. The subject sustained minor injuries, and less than 2 hours after the incident, the document was updated. The contents of the update mentioned the person wondering whether or not the incident was connected with the writing of the passage. After their recovery, the staff member was shown the updated text, and confirmed that that was what he had been thinking during the events.
Roughly a month afterwards, the main body of SCP-xxxx was subject to an update. The unnamed protagonist mentioned observing the events written about above, and seemed to find a great enjoyment in it, saying: “It was amazing to see these people find out the joys of altering the fate of others. It makes me excited for what the future holds”. This update to the main document resulted in the termination of all further testing in regards to altering any of the contents of SCP-xxxx, or SCP-xxxx-1.
