Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently contained within a Catalina Coachmen Class A moter-home, hereby designated Mobile Containment Unite Beta (MCU-B). MCU-B is to be driven around a custom build track surrounding Site-██ by members of MTF Tau-18 ("Designated Drivers") at all times when not being charged, restocked or cleaned. MCU-B must not remain motionless for more than 36 hours, should this occur, MTF Tau-18 is to immediately re-establish containment. At no time should MCU-B exceed 35 mph on the track, nor should it drop below 5 mph unless it is being stopped for above purposes. MCU-B is fully furnished and equipped with standard audio and visual surveillance devices. An implanted tracking device in SCP-XXXX's arm is to be regularly inspected and the signal closely monitored by members of MTF Tau-18 in the event of a relocation event. MCU-B is to be restocked with food and water every seven days and re-charged and the restroom emptied every second day, SCP-XXXX can request a stop if needed to aid in sleep, these requests are to be directed to acting MTF agent and may be denied.

Special Containment Procedures: After arriving at Point Beta, MTF Tau-18 ("Designated Drivers") are to immediately begin monitoring for the signal of the tracking device implanted into SCP-XXXX's right arm. After confirming the location of SCP-XXXX Tau-18 are to immediately mobilize to the new Point Alpha. In the event that SCP-XXXX is picked up by a civilian, said citizens vehicle should be followed by at least two Tau-18 members while the rest report to the nearest evac location to await the next jump. Once SCP-XXXX has been secured in a MTF vehicle, it is to be debriefed, given fresh food, water and clothes if necessary and a picture of the tattoo on the small of its back taken for archival purposes. Upon arrival at point Beta and subsequent relocation of SCP-XXXX, these procedures are to be repeated.

Excessive costs and concerns about the safety of SCP-XXXX have made finding a more ideal containment method a high priority.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a caucasian female approximately 22 years old, measuring 170.18 cm (5'9) with dark red hair. SCP-XXXX's outward personality is descibed by MTF Tau-18 operatives as warm and kind, if a bit reserved. It has no memories of its early childhood, including its original name, prefering to go by "Sam", a name it made for itself. SCP-XXXX has expressed interest in several things it was not able to do prior to containment, this includes, cooking, reading and writing, and Dramatic television. SCP-XXXX has proved to be fully cooperative with foundation testing and containment, stating the superior living conditions and new luxuries were "miles better" compared to being uncontained.

SCP-XXXX's anomalous abilities made it incredibly difficult to reliably contain, thus the prior keter classification. SCP-XXXX possesses the ability to teleport to a seemingly random location upon the exit of a vehicle. The location, hereby designated Point Alpha, SCP-XXXX is teleported to seems to be random, the only contributing factor identified is that a vehicle must have used it at least once in the 12 months prior to SCP-XXXX's arrival. Upon manifestation at Point Alpha, SCP-XXXX will be unable to move outside of a one meter radius from Point Alpha, the only way for it to leave this barrier is by holding up one arm to beckon a car in a manner consistent with hitchhiking. Upon the stop of this vehicle, SCP-XXXX will be able to get inside, once inside it is capable of full movement, so long as it is within the vehicle, it will also give directions to a place, hereby Point Beta. Should the driver be unable to reach Point Beta, SCP-XXXX will request to be dropped off as close as possible, where it will again be unable to move till boarding another vehicle. Upon its eventual arrival at Point Beta, SCP-XXXX will thank the driver, exit the vehicle and promptly de-manifest, eventually manifesting at a new Point Alpha, where it will begin the cycle anew. Time between SCP-XXXX de-manifesting at point beta and manifesting at Point Alpha vary, from the longest of 6 months to near instantaneously. It it unknown where SCP-XXXX goes during this time, and it reports it remembers nothing in between manifestations. Attempts to track SCP-XXXX during this time record wildly inconsistent data, often showing it in more than one place at once.

SCP-XXXX initially came into The Foundation's radar after several reports of a "Ghost Hitchhiker" with similar characteristics started appearing on the internet. It's unknown the exact amount of time SCP-XXXX has been active, but Foundation efforts to locate it began on 02/22/20██, culminating on 07/3/20██ when Agent ████ ████████, code-name "Padre" discovered a hitchhiker during a family vacation, after allowing it into his van, he realized the hitchhiker matched the reports of SCP-XXXX and conducted an impromptu interview the next time his family stopped for gas, where he confirmed SCP-XXXX's anomalous abilities and called for Foundation support. Agent Padre's family was amnestisized, SCP-XXXX was fitted with a tracker, and MTF Tau-18 was formed, with Agent Padre as the MTF commander.

Foreword: Interview was conducted impromptu during Agent Padre's family road-trip after discovery of a hitchhiker matching reports of a "Disappearing Hitchhiker" The Foundation had been investigating, later confirmed and designated SCP-XXXX

Agent Padre: My first vacation in ten years and I manage to run into The Foundations most wanted hitchhiker

SCP-XXXX: What are you talking about? What's The Foundation? Who are you?

Agent Padre: Don't worry about that, and you can call me Padre, look, my family is only gonna be in that gas station for a minute so i need you to answer me 100% honestly here, when i drop you off in Dallas, what is going to happen?
SCP-XXXX: I don't know what your talking abo-
Agent Padre: cut the shit, I know all about you, I want to help but i need confirmation
SCP-XXXX: *silence*
Agent Padre: Ignore me all you want but im calling a squad within the next two minutes either way and i'm a lot nicer than the interrogator back at the Site, so please tell me what you can do, for both of our sake
SCP-XXXX: So you guys are what, the men in black? I'm not an alien, i just do weird shit.
Agent Padre: I know you're not an alien, what kind of weird stuff?
SCP-XXXX: I don't know how to explain it, I- I can only move while in a car and once i get to the place and leave the car i teleport to a random place where i gotta start all over again
Agent Padre: How do you know what place you have to go to?
SCP-XXXX: I don't know, it's like, instinctual, how do you know how to breath? to walk?
Agent Padre: ok i think i understand, the MTF will be here in a minute, were going to try to help
SCP-XXXX: I hope you can

Closing Statement: Agent Padre's family were administered class A amnestics and SCP-XXXX was transferred to the MTF van where a more complete analysis of SCP-XXXX's anomalous abilities was conducted and initial containment procedures were drafted.
