Containment procedures: scp-xxxx is to be contained in a reinforced glass case at a underground 110x110 meter reinforced vault at site-45. 2 heavily armed guards are to be stationed outside at all times. Only personnel level 4 and above are allowed access for research and testing.

Description: scp-xxxx is a metallic rod measuring at 7.4 cm in diameter and 25 cm in length. If scp-xxxx is touched by any intelligent life form, it will start to hum, after which it will transform into whatever weaponry the individual wishes. if the metal rod is too small to create the desired weaponry, it will start to absorb material in a 100 meter radius. scp-xxxx seems to have a priority list that goes after normal materials, then to materials and objects that are currently being used, to essential objects, to living beings that are not the current user. It cannot turn into anything that the user does not consider a weapon. It has been shown to transform into anything from a small kitchen knife to . (Redacted information available to O5’s)

*Note: it is not yet known if there is any limit to the size of weapons scp-xxxx can turn into.

Subject: Researcher Dr.*

Outcome: Dr.* holds scp-xxxx in his hand as it begins to hum, after which it seems to melt, (though Dr.* doesn't get any burns) and it turns into a normal Glock 17 semi-automatic pistol.

Subject: D-class with a history of violence, who is being aimed at constantly by 4 guards.

Outcome: D-class touches scp-xxxx and freaks out after it begins to hum. D-class is told to pick up scp-xxxx and think of a weapon. D-class, seemingly confused, complies and picks up scp-xxxx, after which it begins to hum again and starts to absorb two of the rifles of the guards that melt onto the floor and get absorbed by scp-xxxx after wich it turns into a minigun. D-class tries to fire it but has his wrist severely damaged by recoil, and is only able to kill one guard. D-class terminated.

Subject: Agent *

Outcome: Agent * touches scp-xxxx. Scp-xxxx starts to hum and absorbs the Agents pistol, spare magazines, and bulletproof vest. scp-xxxx grows in size and turns into a full size rocket launcher from the video game Doom. Agent * accidentally fires and blows a 2 meters hole in testing area wall. Agent has been reprimanded accordingly.
