Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 15m x 15m x 15m airtight tungsten cell with one 2m x 3m window at Site ██. A small, red ceiling light is hung at the top of it. No personnel other than D-Class are to be let in, other staff/researchers must observe through the window (wearing sunglasses). Only 23.07l of biological substances are to be permitted within the cell of SCP-XXXX a day (any more or less might result in catastrophic events).

Description: SCP-XXXX is a pitch-black orb, that levitates about 0.9m over the ground. The surface of said orb is rough and cracked, made of an incredibly heatproof material. It contains what appears to be a miniature white dwarf star, at the brink of death. Extremely bright beams of light bleed through the breaches in the surface.

Even though fairly small, SCP-XXXX has a very strong gravitational field, which seems to be activated once there is any organic subject in a 2m radius. If there are any biological subjects
inside this field, the "hull" of SCP-XXXX is peeled back. At that point SCP-XXXX's field will be active, and nearby subjects will be drawn into the inner part of the core. Once any amount of organic mass is consumed by SCP-XXXX, it grows its core's radius by an estimated 1.3cm/l. The lifespan of the star held inside the hull is supposedly determined by the size (3.5h/~cm). An average size for SCP-XXXX's radius is 30cm.

During the event of a "feeding", while the hull is peeled back, SCP-XXXX gives off a faint electromagnetic pulse. With the ceiling light, SCP-XXXX is able to communicate through Morse code through the opening and closing of the hull (Foundation Personnel currently have no explanation as to how it knows this). Logs have shown that it remembers where it came from, but only revealing very vague descriptions, mentioning almost indecipherable sequences of numbers that are considered coordinates, or uttering "N-O-V-A" and "A-S-H-E-S".

SCP-XXXX was discovered in a large crater in a field near ██████████, Germany by local farmers of the area. They reported that one farmer went missing while attempting to investigate the crater. Containing SCP-XXXX was proved incredibly difficult, for any human interaction with SCP-XXXX is lethal. It was necessary to bring the Cell of SCP-XXXX to the discovery site, and directly containing it there.

Since all D-Class must at one point be terminated, at Site-██, personnel with appointed termination are just brought to SCP-XXXX. Several ethical dilemmas have have resulted in Doctors at the foundation, due to the constant feeding taking the lives of more and more people. Those who have complained were told that D-Class are expendable and are persistently being replaced every day.

Most incidents including SCP-XXXX are caused by the white dwarf and its extremely high temperature (100,000°Kelvin), but due to the dense hull encasing it, the temperature is highly insulated. Containment breaches are not possible, but overfeeding SCP-XXXX can result in it melting through the walls,

It's a bit long for an idea (that hasnt even really been greenlighted yet), but am i on the right track?
