Special Containment Procedures:**SCP 4984 must be kept underwater in a rust resistant case and must not come into contact with any personnel of the foundation. Should SCP 4984 come into contact with a person of the agency that agent is to be killed immediately. A detailed analysis of SCP 4984 show that all hosts and those around the host wish to only wage wars on those who did them wrong. Hosts spoke about SCP 4984 in their sleep and if SCP 4984 is taken from them by force, the hosts heart stops and their eyes turn to ice and the person who took SCP 4984 becomes the new host .
Description:SCP 4984 is a Trident composed of 2 features. The first feature is the Trident itself which is made more like a staff with 3 spiraling blades protruding from it. The second feature is a heart from a prehistoric creature that lived in the Atlantic ocean. This creatures heart had frozen over for unknown reasons and (after being discovered by s team of divers) froze anyone who held the heart for more than 5 minutes. The heart was then sold to a black smith who made the Trident and fixed the heart in place. How the heart was fixed in place is still unknown.
The Tridents anomalous ability is that it can freeze most any sea creatures and can posses any land creatures. Depending on the creature it will change shape or give sentience to the wielder.
It can extend the life span of the wielder but if left untouched for several hours the wielder/ host will die. If left out of sea water it will freeze the area and kill any living things in a 5 mile radius of the Trident. Sea creatures that come in contact with the Trident will devolve into prehistoric versions of that species.
Cleaning procedures:To clean the container of SCP 4984 class D personnel are to work in groups of four with one cleaning and three preventing the one cleaning to take the skip from its container. If the three fail they are to eliminate the new host and delay the cleaning process for 48 hours while SCP 4984 is inspected and their psychiatric evaluations are conducted.
