Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5XXX is to be stored on site near a Scranton Reality Anchor in a standard titanium locker in site [REDACTED]. No less than 2 armed guards are to be posted outside of the room at any given time. Testing with D-Class is prohibited due to the security risk of it breaching containment. Testing is limited to personnel with security level 4 or higher along with unanimous vote from the 05 council as well as the testing site director.
Description: SCP-5XXX is a pair of steel rimmed, poly-carbonate prescription glasses that were discovered after a string of bank heists in Minnesota, 2020. Agents recovered these glasses after a grueling raid on the original owner's hideout. SCP-5XXX, when worn, enables the user to bend reality inside of their view. Examples of what it can do: Digging holes through any surface as if it were being drilled into by a invisible force, burning objects, levitation of objects, creation of matter such as dirt or a staircase. The limit to how much it can effect/create/destroy is only limited to the wearer's mental will power and can make it highly dangerous in the wrong hands. The effects of the glasses may be nullified by a Scranton Reality Anchor.
