Description: SCP-4092 is an ancient Statue that dates to approximately 5000 B.C.
SCP-4092 is extremely well polished and seems to be made of Granite. It is not known yet how the civilizations of such time were able to achieve such a perfectly built statue.

The effects of SCP-4092 activate when a viewer directly stares at it through the close range of 3 or less meters. Subjects exposed to SCP-4092 seem to paralize for brief seconds, until they reach a stage where reverting effects is almost impossible.

SCP-4092 seems to work by "stages", each having its own effect and duration.
Known stages of the SCP include:
Stage 1 - "The Panic Stage": Subject enters into traumatic stress and begins having severe visional hallucinations, some of which the subject enters extreme paranoia. Duration estimated to be around 1 minute.
Stage 2 - "The Darkness": Subject loses all thoughts and memory of location and loses all color vision. The subject sees everything as complete black and darkness at this point, with almost no shadows being visible. This is the stage that marks the irreversibility of the SCP. Duration estimated to be around 5 minutes.
Stage 3 - "The Final Stage": Subject begins hallucinating red-eyed completely black hostile humanoid entities. After around 5 minutes, the subject dies. It is not yet known if these are apart of a separate dimension or are mere fruits of imagination. No subject has ever spoke during this stage, possibly due to the extreme levels of stress and fear they feel.
