Special Containment Procedures: Foundation agents will monitor 9-1-1 calls and hospital records for persons showing symptoms consistent with SCP-XXXX. Subjects will be detained and placed in a standard humanoid containment cell until the disorder has run its course and SCP-XXXX-2 fully de-manifests. Should a SCP-XXXX-2 subject expire outside of Foundation containment, death records will be fabricated and reported as self-termination, usually by exsanguination. Witnesses to the subject's death or any attacks by SCP-XXXX-2 will be tracked and amnesticized.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a hallucinogenic psychiatric disorder that manifests in approximately 0.00█% of persons possessing any 'harmful' addiction (most commonly substances) in which the subject, designated SCP-XXXX-1, will hallucinate the presence of SCP-XXXX-2

SCP-XXXX-2 is an abnormally large specimen of Canis Lupus¹ with extremely severe melanism.

+ Timeline of standard SCP-XXXX progression:

Week One: SCP-XXXX-2 sighted in the object of addiction by the subject. Subject will almost always attempt to remedy their addiction following the first sighting.

Week Two: SCP-XXXX-2 is regularly sighted in the periphery of the SCP-XXXX-1 instance's vision. Subject develops severe paranoia and isolates themselves from the rest of society, leading to more reliance on the object of addiction and more frequent sightings of SCP-XXXX-2.

Week Three: At this point, if the subject has shown progress in correcting their addiction, SCP-XXXX-2 sightings will become less and less frequent, and eventually cease entirely. If the subject continues to rely on their addiction, sightings will become more common and more visible.

Week Four: SCP-XXXX-2 begins to physically pursue the subject, attempting to intimidate them at close distances, using various parts of its body to disrupt SCP-XXXX-1. Attempts to physically halt SCP-XXXX-2 by the subject are universally met with failure.

Week Five onwards: SCP-XXXX-2 will assault the subject using its incisors and claws. Notably, SCP-XXXX-2 is not omnipresent at this stage in SCP-XXXX progression, instead having to physically follow the subject. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 have been noted to evade attack for as long as four days.

Addendum SCP-XXXX.a1
Following 2/12/19, SCP-XXXX-1 subjects outside of Foundation containment began being terminated by SCP-XXXX-2 in unusual manners, suggesting a deeper knowledge of the subject's psychological state and possible sapience.

SCP-XXXX-1-111, formerly Michael Williams.	Sexual intercourse.	Subject's genitals castrated by incisors of SCP-XXXX-2. Expired from blood loss.
SCP-XXXX-1-113, formerly Anna Carter.	Unknown.	Subject apparently self-terminated by cutting the Ulnar artery. Next to the cadaver of SCP-XXXX-1-113 a leather-bound journal was found with a sketch of SCP-XXXX-2 pinned to the cover (see Document-XXXX-A.)
