Special containment procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be kept in a 5x5 room made out of glass. There must be spotlights outside of the cell positioned with the intention to prevent any shadows from forming inside the cell's surface. No personnel is allowed inside SCP-xxxx's cell unless authorized by a member with clearance level 2 or higher. Three (3) cameras are to be positioned around SCP-xxxx's cell, as well as two (2) guards monitoring the cell, each one 12 hours a day. Additionally, SCP-xxxx must wear an obsidian necklace when not used in an experiment or test, to reduce its escaping chances.
Description: SCP-xxxx is a two feet tall cat that normally appears with black fur and yellow eyes. Depending on the situation, SCP-xxxx changes its' fur's color to adapt and become almost invisible, allowing it to act furtively.
If SCP-xxxx is exposed to any kind of treat, it will run to the closest shadow and leave its current body, entering the shadow bodyless. If the shadow SCP-xxxx got in belongs to a living matter, SCP-xxxx will copy the matter characteristics and apply it to its' new body. SCP-xxxx will then choose another shadow to come back to the physical world. As SCP-xxxx comes out of the shadow, it will mimic the matter`s behavior, becoming impossible to distinguish the difference between both.
When in the mimic form, the body appears to be made of "darkness", being light its only weakness. In the case of a containment breach, a standard flashlight is recommended to the re-containing kit.
SCP-xxxx can't speak when in his original form. It can only speak while inside an intelligent body that is not muted in any way.
Addendum xxxx-B: during SCP-xxxx's containment period, only three (3) containment breaches were attempted.

Closing Statement: Containment breach attempt resulted in the death of 1 D-Class personnel, but it was caught and taken back to its' cell by two facility guards.
Addendum xxxx-C: Dr.S█████ requested an experiment with SCP-xxxx in 01/09/20██. He affirmed that there could be a material that limited its' power.
Experimentation authorized by personnel one day later, at 10:52 p.m.

Subject: SCP-xxxx
Procedure: 5 material samples inside glass bowls were approached to SCP-xxxx by Dr.S█████ while the subject was asleep.
Results: SCP-xxxx's anomalous property seem to reject obsidian, making the containment of the subject easier.
Analysis: SCP-xxxx past is currently unknown, but it seemed to remember someone, probably a family member.
Addendum xxxx-E: In SCP-xxxx's second (2) breach attempt, one (1) D-Class prisoner was going to do a cleaning task inside other SCP's room. The D-Class got inside the wrong cell, and SCP-xxxx wasn't wearing its' obsidian necklace due to a basic daily test.
After the breach attempt, the D-Class that entered SCP-xxxx's cell reported that the guard in charge of the cell was sleeping.
It got inside the D-class' shadow and reappeared at the same location, immobilizing D-class-xxxx.
The SCP got outside of the cell then and walked many corridors until foundation personnel found it and took it under custody to Dr.S█████. The next log was recorded and analyzed by Dr.S█████.
