Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX should be monitored when not testing. SCP-XXXX should be assigned a personal guard when being transported.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a small wooden music box approximately 10 cm high, 30 cm long, and 16 cm wide. When SCP-XXXX isn't being observed it plays music only audible to those unaware of said music. Those who hear the music of SCP-XXXX become confused and paranoid because of their inability to confirm the existence of the music. The music produced by SCP-XXXX can be heard regardless of distance, this has lead to multiple cases of mass confusion(see A-1).
The music SCP-XXXX produces has been caught on several audio recording devices as an inaudible blip on a spectrograph. While there is no hard proof that the blips were caused by SCP-XXXX the blips line up with when SCP-XXXX was in testing.

During testing, SCP-XXXX caused mass confusion and paranoia which lead to a complete containment breach at site-██. There were no casualties because most SCPs at site-██ were also confused and disoriented. After this, use of SCP-XXXX during future containment breaches was suggested but later denied.

While being transported to a designated fallback site SCP-XXXX was temporarily allowed to be used to pacify other SCPs during transport. The driver of the transport vehicle crashed into the SCP site because of extreme confusion and paranoia against the foundation. There is no hard proof that SCP-XXXX caused the crash, but since then special procedures have been put in place when transporting SCP-XXXX.
