Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5268 is to be kept in a padded 5m x 5m x 3m cell with no items inside. The cell is to contain SCP-5268 only, and no food or water is to be brought to it. SCP-5268 is not to be monitored at any time, and is to be kept 10 metres away from all adjacent cells at all times. The door to 5268's cell is to be sealed and reinforced at all times.
Access to SCP-5268 is only to be allowed to Class D personnel.
Description:
SCP-5268 is a humanoid entity, approximately 2 metres in length. The entity wears a black mask with implanted prominent incisors and no eyes. 5268 possesses two sets of teeth and has no ability to communicate verbally. However, 5268 projects vocalizations that provoke a fear reflex within all human subjects. SCP-5268 possesses an extremely powerful psychic
SCP-3578 is a humanoid entity, measuring 1.95 metres in height. The entity is coated in a thin highly-flammable residue which, when tested, has shown to have a similar chemical compound to paraffin. This entity, when exposed to an atmosphere containing as little as 15 percent oxygen, combusts violently, with temperatures reaching 6 thousand degrees Celsius. SCP-3578 possesses an extremely powerful psychic ability, in which any conscious being within 30 metres, becomes susceptible to the entity’s power to scan their mind for triggering and emotionally damaging information. SCP-3578 also has a developing telekinetic ability, showing extreme mental power in moments when the entity’s life is in mortal danger.
SCP-3578 has had several physiological checks in the past, only to have discovered that the subject has only an oesophagus, reaching 3 and a half feet down from it’s mouth to it’s rectal cavity. The entity has no pulse or respiratory system and can only ingest a thick paste which has been classified as SCP-3578-A. SCP-3578 was found lying unconscious below the hill fort at Maiden Castle, ███████. The entity was then moved to Site-71, which upon explosion on 28/11/20██, was moved to Site-27.
Addendum 3229-01: State of The Silent Man upon arrival at the Foundation.

Addendum 3578-01 – State of SCP-3578 upon arrival to Site-71:
Coroner: (activates recording device) Today’s date is July 17th 20██. This is Doctor Lance Falcrow. Subject, assumed deceased, is approximately 2 metres in height. The subject’s body is covered in a flammable substance with chemical properties similar to paraffin. Subject seems to have it’s fingers merged. (begins to cut into the subject’s abdomen) The subject appears to have no stomach, yet an oesophagus and a rectal cavity, linked directly. Below the substance, the skin is porous and violet. I cut into the abdomen of the subject 25 seconds ago, and the incision seems to have completely sealed. The cause of death, if the subject is deceased, would have to be based on ingested material.

Coroner: How can you know that?
SCP-3578: (stares at the coroner)
Coroner: Stop it. Stop it now.
SCP-3578: (continues to stare at the coroner)
Coroner: (begins to walk towards the door, panicked) How can it know about that? (recording device is deactivated by SCP-3578 by force)
FOOTNOTE: When interviewed about panicking, Dr. Falcrow revealed that his wife was murdered in 2001, while he was working overtime and that he had not been able to forgive himself after the event. Apparently, SCP-3578 had scanned Dr. Falcrow’s brain for emotionally damaging information, and had located it.
Addendum 3229-02: Transformation of the subject upon change of mood.
- At 05:30 hours, SCP-XXXX woke up from sleep unexpectedly, sweating and swiping his “VR” Headset from his face, breathing loudly, heart beating heavily and face warped.
- Upon awakening, the subject’s face appeared black with three purple gashes cut where his mouth and eyes would usually sit. SCP-XXXX turns into this form whenever he is being interrogated about his injuries upon arrival at Site ██, whenever he is ████████ or whenever he is distraught.
- He appears to increase heartbeat, blood pressure and breathing loudness as well as strength, speed and intelligence. If the subject was to ever escape Site ██, most of Western Europe and possibly the First World would be infected with the black slime that pours from the subject’s orifices during his “Blackout” condition.
- SCP-XXXX has said in prior interviews that he loses memory of what happened up to 2 days before the “Blackout” condition began and that despite being injected with SCP-XXXX-B, he is unable to remember anything during “Blackout.”
NOTES: SCP-XXXX's gashes turn from a purple hue into a more cyan-dark blue hue, as if he is lacrimating.
Addendum 3229-03: Emergency Procedures regarding “████████”.
The following paragraphs describe Emergency Procedures regarding “████████” of SCP-XXXX;
If the subject goes into “████████” during Cleaning Procedure (before or after relocation of SCP-XXXX), the primary or secondary cell (consecutively) are to be sterilized and flooded with SCP-████-B. If the subject in question goes into “████████” during relocation, he is to be shot at using a tranquillizer solution devised from SCP-████-B.
If SCP-XXXX enters “████████” during interrogation, whether that be through corrosive perspiring, sobbing or spitting, interrogator is to proceed out of the interrogation chamber and chamber is to be sealed, whatever the consequence. Failure to do so will result in termination
If the subject enters “████████” during a health checkup by a member of physiological personnel, the examination room is to be evacuated and heavily boltlocked. Re-entry of the room is allowed only when SCP-XXXX returns to a normal state.
If SCP-XXXX escapes from his primary or secondary cell during “████████”, he is to be relocated and shot with the tranquillizer solution mentioned in Scenario 3229-A. If he is not relocated within 3 minutes, personnel are to inform security and the O5 council. Should SCP-XXXX be relocated, he is to be rendered unconscious by a member of security.
Addendum 3229-04: Feeding Procedures.
SCP-XXXX is to be left the following food items daily ONLY.
One (1) loaf of uncut bread.
One (1) tub of peanut butter.
Three (3) packets of chocolate.
Two (2) bowls of pasta with sauce.
One (1) packet of figs or dates.
Three (3) oranges, 300-450 grams by weight.
Two (2) – five (5) shots of fluid SCP-████-C
One (1) – One point seven (1.7) litres of purified water (with less than 10 nano-litres of ████-C)
Failure to do so may lead to a containment breach mentioned in recovered information from Site ██. (See Addendum 3229-08)
NOTES: Dr. Graham ███████ tested the subject without permission from the O5 Council on the grounds of observing how SCP-XXXX would respond to certain foods missing from his daily feed.
Dr. ███████ was rendered unconscious by SCP-XXXX and an almost critical containment breach caused Dr. ███████ to be terminated by order of O5-1.
Addendum 3229-05: Test A - Corrosive Fluids Testing on Corpses.
Dr. █████ ██████ reporting. Date today is ██/05/██. Today we are testing the corrosive traits of the fluids created by SCP-XXXX (SCP-XXXX-A) on 2 D-Class Personnel.
Subject A; Recently deceased male, age 24, designated D-████-██. Killed by SCP-███. Has been dead for approximately 7 hours.
0 seconds: Room flooded with gaseous SCP-XXXX-A.
15 seconds: Movement detected in chamber.
45 seconds: Corpse twitches and head snaps back into place.
1 minute 10 seconds: Appendages of corpse begin to corrode.
1 minute 35 seconds: Screaming of 170 decibels is heard within the chamber.
2 minutes 50 seconds: Limbs of corpse have fully corroded. Screaming continues.
4 minutes 47 seconds: Chest and waist have fully corroded. Subject continues to scream, despite lack of lungs or vocal cords to scream.
6 minutes: Face and hair have fully corroded. Subject is still screaming.
7 minutes: Test ends, body has corroded with the exception of the skull. Screaming has stopped.
NOTE: Room is sterilized for ██ minutes and skull is found covered in a beige grey slime of sorts. Aforementioned slime is analyzed by Dr. █████ ██████ and is said to have traces of calcium, fibres of human hair and muscle protein.
Subject B; Latterly deceased male, age 24, designated D-████-█. Killed by Dr.██████. Has been dead for approximately 6 days.
0 seconds: Room flooded with gaseous SCP-XXXX-A.
35 seconds: Hissing heard in chamber.
47 seconds: Corpse twitches as fingernails and hair start to regrow.
1 minute 23 seconds: Hissing gets louder and subject appears to open and close his mouth with the hissing.
3 minutes 5 seconds: Subject is now speaking in a dialect based on the hissing.
3 minutes 25 seconds: Subject appears to be hyperventilating. Later report from the coroner shows deteriorating lung tissue due to corrosive nature of fluids at this point in the test.
4 minutes 2 seconds: Subject screams at 190 decibels and speakers have to be turned off.
4 minutes 18 seconds: Subject appears to be dead, due to asphyxiation.
5 minutes 11 seconds: Internal organs appear to be corroding, yet inhaling and exhaling is still visible.
5 minutes 34 seconds: Test ends. Body’s internal organs have corroded.
NOTE: Room is sterilized for 45 minutes and body is carried to an incinerator after coroner’s examination. Reports state that the air in the lungs of the deceased was interacting with the gaseous XXXX-A and caused the body to “almost commit spontaneous combustion”. Body was incinerated and all staff present for test were sterilized and quarantined for ██ hours.
Addendum 3229-06: Test B - Creativity Restraints of the subject.
The subject appears to be a very imaginative and creative individual, who, when given a creative outlet, acts like an █████ in creating the form he desires. There have been █ ███████ █████ assigned to SCP-XXXX in this particular field.

When given a box of ██████████, the subject will proceed to design a ████ puppet between █ and ██ inches in height. SCP-XXXX is quite capable of █████████ the ████ puppets and takes great pride in doing so.

5 minutes: The subject proceeds to cut pieces of ██████████ from it’s ██████.
8 minutes: The subject begins to form what appear to be █████.
17 minutes: The subject has made 4 (four) █████ that appear to be proportionate to a ████.
31 minutes: The subject finishes designing a █████ and █████.
33 minutes: The subject begins putting the parts of the puppet together.
37 minutes: The subject begins to carve a ████ and ████ for the puppet.
59 minutes: “For some reason, the ████ takes longer to make than the ████”, according to the subject. He has finished designing the puppet in it’s most basic form.
1 hour: SCP-XXXX begins heavily detailing the puppet with ██████████ and other ████████
1 hour 43 minutes: SCP-XXXX seems to start calling out for “Murphy” and says “Walkies.”
1 hour 45 minutes: The subject resumes the detailing of the puppet and mutters away to himself (See Addendum 3229-09)

NOTES: SCP-XXXX has constantly complained to his staff of boredom and asked for a reiteration of Test A. Retesting of the subject in this field is yet to be affirmed by the O5 Council.
When given █████, a box of ████████ pencils and a bag of █████████ pencils, SCP-XXXX will proceed to avoid the task in front of him for quite some time. However, his skills abilities in this field are fascinating and further testing in this field has been recommended to the O5 Council.

0 minutes: Drawing utensils put into SCP-XXXX’s cell.
10 minutes: The subject acknowledges the utensils, but does not proceed to use them. Control prompts him, yet SCP-XXXX resists.
47 minutes: The subject begins to argue with himself (See Addendum 3229-12) and throws the utensils across the room, claiming; “I’m not in the mood, ████ ███████ and ████ ███.” Control attempts to calm him down. However, SCP-XXXX becomes highly aggressive and signs of “████████” are observed and the test is aborted.
NOTE: On ██/05/██, 3229 was found drawing on the floor of his cell quite happily during cleaning procedures. The procedure was put on hold until he completed his drawing and showed it to his staff the same day during transition to his secondary cell.
He was prompted to give it to a member of his staff and he did so quite cheerily with no force.
However, the member of staff assigned (D-████-█) confronted the Site Manager on the nature of the picture a few █████ later and was decommissioned and had his memory wiped.
SCP-XXXX was █████ █████████ ███ ███ ███████ ████████ ███ ████████ █████ ██ ███. The subject has not been informed, due to possible “Blackout” scenario.
Addendum 3229-07: Test C: Intelligence Restraints of SCP-XXXX
Despite the subject’s child-like imagination, he is an incredibly intelligent and aware individual. This has made SCP-XXXX a potential Keter and reclassification has been recommended to the O5 Council.

NOTES: Class 2 Physiological personnel █████ examined SCP-XXXX’s form and informed the Site Manager that the score was perfect, giving him an IQ of 2██ (advanced genius according to Terman’s IQ scale.) However, this is only ascertained during “Blackout.”
The O5 Council has released a statement on the intelligence of the subject during “Blackout”; “Aggravation of SCP-XXXX is punishable by termination. This SCP is highly intelligent and has the mental and physical prowess to escape, should he wish.”

Description: SCP-████ is a 1.64 meter tall male individual that was located at Site-██ on [DATA EXPUNGED]. Genetic testing on SCP-████ has lead Class 4 Physiological and Forensic personnel to match SCP-████ with a similar, if not identical, genetic structure to SCP-███. During what SCP-████ names "Blackout", black opaque fluid that has highly corrosive properties pours from SCP-████'s orifices. This has lead to some personnel mistaking him for a product of █████. SCP-████ is to not be let out of his cell at any time, whatsoever.

Addendum ████-02: Escape Procedures
If SCP-████ attempts to escape Site-██, the Site Manager is to inform the Foundation and the O5 Council are to be notified immediately. SCP-████ is to be neutralized and sealed within his cell. If SCP-████ resists force, mobile units are to terminate SCP-████. Failure to do so may lead to a total containment breach of Site-██, or perhaps the destruction of Site-██.
Addendum 3229-09: Mimicking Behaviours of SCP-XXXX
SCP-XXXX has a tendency to mimic the behaviours of his assigned personnel or visitors to Site-██. There have been several incidents where the subject mimics personnel and causes said personnel to panic.
Incident 3229-A:
At ██:██ hours on ██/██/15, a member of personnel proceeded to pound the door on SCP-XXXX’s cell, as to ensure that SCP-XXXX was not in “Blackout” prior to the daily cleaning procedure. The subject stood, walked to the cell door, and pounded the door the exact amount of times D-████ had a few minutes prior. D-████ panicked and evacuated the immediate area around SCP-XXXX’s cell. D-████ was terminated due to unprofessional action on duty.
Incident 3229-B:
At ██:██ hours on ██/██/16, a visitor to Site-██, previously assigned to SCP-XXXX’s prior containment Site, proceeded to observe SCP-XXXX in his cell. Upon realizing who SCP-XXXX was, he vocalized in fear. SCP-XXXX proceeded to turn, walk to the window where Dr.█████ was vocalizing, and vocalized at the same frequency. SCP-XXXX’s face proceeded to transform into a similarity of Dr.█████’s face. Dr.█████ panicked, and evacuated Site-██. Dr.█████ was injected with a general amnesiac.
Incident 3229-C:
At ██:██ hours on ██/██/18, Dr. Masi ██████ was appointed to give SCP-XXXX his physiological checkup. Dr. ██████ proceeded to use an oral thermometer on SCP-XXXX to check the subject’s temperature. SCP-XXXX proceeded to place Dr. ██████ in a position referred to as a “headlock”, forcing the oral thermometer with extreme force into Dr.██████’s mouth. The extreme force ██████████ Dr. ██████’s oral cavity and ██████ the doctor. SCP-XXXX had been showing early onset symptoms of “Blackout” prior to the physiological checkup. The personnel responsible for transitioning SCP-XXXX to Dr. ██████’s office was terminated.
