Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-3398 is to be kept in a titanium and lead lined, soundproof 10x10 cell, with infrared CCTV cameras monitoring the cell 24/7 at Site-■■. A mobile task force specialized in dealing with Biohazard and Cognitohazard anomalies are to provide security 24/7, with a minimum of 34 MTF personnel at any given time. If SCP-3398 breaches containment and MTF personnel fail to recapture/neutralise SCP-3398, Site-■■ on site warhead is to be immediately activated. Failure to comply with containment procedures in the event of a breach will result in termination.
Description:
SCP-3398 is a humanoid anomaly with extreme fungal growth around its torso, arms and head. SCP-3398 is very agile and can run at speeds exceeding a formula 1 car. SCP-3398 is not visible except in infrared light. SCP-3398 also has ■■ meter long spike like appendages, covered with a viscous, crimson colored substance( See Addendum 3398-a). SCP-3398 is extremely hostile, and will try to lure victims by an audible white noise. Any person that are exposed to the spike appendages or fed the fungal spores are to be terminated at once, as the containmented person will begin to mutate, turning into a spore carrier, referred to as SCP-3398-1, and are extremely aggressive(See Addendum 3398-1-b). SCP-3398 is near impossible to harm via small arm fire up to, in some instances, a APCR round. However, it is susceptible to fire and chemical weapons.

(at this moment a white noise is emitted by SCP-3398, which is not seen by the D Class personnel, but to the team conducting the test and MTF personnel via infrared equipment)
D-639: What the [EXPLETIVE] is this sound, get out get out get the [EXPLETIVE] out
(at this time D-639 begins to unwillingly move towards the space near SCP-3398, the other D Class personnel exhibit the same effects)
Dr [REDACTED] Alert site command for a possible breach, MTF personnel are to engage any and all entities in the room, lethal force is authorized
(at this point SCP-3398 paralyzes the test subjects, opens their mouths and inserts fungi into their mouths, subjects appear to fall to the floor, SCP-3398 proceeds to stab the D Class in the center of the skull, causing the subjects to convulse violently, foaming at the mouth, then subjects cease all motions. after 30 seconds, subjects are documented to have rapid growth of fungus covering ■■% of their bodies, and are reanimated. At this time the MTF engages and attempts to terminate all instances of SCP-3398-1, but are unsuccessful due to SCP-3398 sprinting and slashing multiple personnel with its spikes, in turn causing reanimation.)
