Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept in a secure archive within Site 25. It does not require surveillance or feeding. Handling of the object with gloves is imperative when being transported, and Level 3 and above personnel must grant permission to handle the object.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an inanimate object resembling a glass coaster, with an image of famous rock band 'The Beatles' printed on it. The object was retrieved by the SCP Foundation from police in [DATA EXPUNGED] after the object appeared to have caused the suicide of two individuals who had recently purchased the object, according to their bank transaction history. The object has been tested numerous times with human subjects. The object has no effect on other living organisms, and only effects humans subjects that touch the object with bare skin.
Subjects become very irrational after contact with the object, with all of subjects stating within three minutes of contact they are 'John Lennon', one of the members of The Beatles. Subjects become extremely skilled at playing the guitar, however subjects only play the song 'I Saw Her Standing There' by The Beatles. Subjects will exclaim a song from The Beatles' discography after finishing the song. Subjects also adopt a Liverpudlian accent, and know every aspect of Lennon's life. Subjects cannot recall any events from their previous life, such as names or relationships.

Subjects will remain in this state until they are told the current year, after which subjects become extremely aggressive towards themselves, screaming "I am a ghost" and attempting to self harm themselves in any way possible. Subjects often use the tools they are given, such as guitars, to cause head trauma. In the absence of such equipment, subjects will bang their heads against the wall until unconsciousness or death. Subjects cannot be apprehended in this state, becoming abnormally strong, fast, and immune to sedatives.
Testing on SCP-XXXX has been concluded, and is considered harmless with proper handing. As of writing this report, no guards have been affected by SCP-XXXX.

Addendum: The following is the file of Subject 4, testing began and concluded on 6/12/2019. Testing recorded by Dr.████.

9:07AM: Subject was exposed to the object in a confined space.
9:08AM Subject touches the object with bare skin, and falls to the floor.
9:011AM: Subject awakes, displaying drastically different body language and voice. The Subject is muttering lyrics to itself as it walks around the space.
9:17AM: An electric guitar and amplifier are provided to the subject, which then becomes elated.
9:18AM: Subject exclaims 'This one is called "I Saw Her Standing There"' before playing the song on repeat for about 17 minutes.
9:35AM: Subject exclaims 'This one is called "Norwegian Wood"' before playing 'I Saw Her Standing There' for 57 minutes. Subject did not display any signs of fatigue during this time.
10:33AM: Subject is told the date through a speaker inside the cell. They immediately change behaviour, and attempt to use the guitar given to destroy themselves.
10:34AM: Subject is hit with a high dose of tranquiliser , but is unaffected and continues to self harm.
*10:35AM**: Subject dies from head trauma and blood loss, TOD 10:35:12 on 6/12/19.
