Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5083 is to be stored in a small bulletproof glass container in Site ██. Testing of SCP-5083 requires the permission of any Level 3 researcher.
Description: SCP-5083 is a small SanDisk ™ ThumbDrive. When put in a usb port of a computer, the computer will start to buffer before completely shutting off. SCP-5083 will then continue to restart the computer.
SCP-5083 will start to show random images and videos that are described as the “Answers to the universe”. When a human or creature views these images/videos they become Scp-5083-1. Scp-5083-1 are in a stasis of sock and a sear focus like illusion. Until the computer is turned off, Scp-5083-1 will continue to stare at the monitor, and can’t be removed from that position.
If another person were to move Scp-5083-1, they become Scp-5083-2. Scp-5083-1 will become aggressive and will attack or kill Scp-5083-2, and cannot be stopped while attacking. Scp-5083-1 will continue to watch the screen after the attack.
When The computer is turned off or the Thumb Drive is removed Scp-5083-1 will regain control over their mind. Testing has shown that 30 mins later after exposure to Scp-5083, Scp-5083-1 will start to go under stress and anxiety while their brain is processing the images and videos produced by Scp-5083. After 2 hours of exposure to Scp-5083, Scp-5083-1 will start to hallucinate and become insane. After 5 hours of exposure to Scp-5083, Scp-5083-1 will try to kill themselves by any way possible.
SCP- 5083 is believed to be created by deep web expert that has the ability to make products like Scp-5083 and to surf the deep web undetected. The deep web expert, a.k.a, [REDACTED] , has yet to be caught by authority and is sentenced to termination once caught. D-50373 starts to fall under the “spell” from scp-5083 and stops talking for 2 hours. After 45 minutes of extraction, D-50373 was found dead in his room with a dent on the frontal bone of the skull with severe hemorrhage likely cause by blunt force.
