SCP-XXXX-2's head has been severed diagonally at 120 degrees Anterior, from above the right eye to the left jaw mandible, passing through the bridge of the nose. The plane of severance is perfectly flat, with an unobstructed view within the cranial cross section. Blood can be observed pumping across the barrier in each direction, with biological processes continuing as if still connected to the missing segment. While light and other electromagnetic frequencies are able to interact with the interior, it is not possible for physical matter to pass the barrier.

The second section begins as the team encounter a number of SCP-XXXX-1 instances, sitting or walking around with no observable purpose. An artificial construct is discovered nearby. No description is given for the construct, however the agents state that the ‘machine’ is ‘birthing’ instances of SCP-XXXX-1.

Team F enter the caves to find that the layout has altered since []. 500 meters into the caves they discover the missing members of Team A. The agents appear to be temporally frozen, with no temporal change observed. Agent #8 is suspended two metres from the ground, a deep laceration across their torso. One agent lies on the floor, while the remaining agents are making a tactical withdrawal. The threshold to the passage is physically impassable to Team A. An SCP-XXXX-1 instance is sighted at the end of the passage beyond Team A. It walks slowly in the agents direction and as it does so it bumps into agent #4, stopping and regarding the obstruction, before pushing against the agent with its hand. This causes agent #4 to shatter at the point of contact, the shards traveling only a short distance before their progress halts.
