Morgan County, Utah.

Special Containment Procedures: Heterosexual personnel are to be stationed in Morgan County, Utah, acting as private financiers for pro-LGBT organizations. Due to inconclusive evidence regarding SCP-XXXX, these personnel are to avoid publicly supporting these groups.

Further research is ongoing.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a communicable psychological phenomenon affecting homosexual women residing within Morgan County, Utah in the United States of America. This phenomenon results in affected subjects losing sexual attraction to their sex and expressing attraction towards members of the opposite sex.

Vectors for the spread of SCP-XXXX are primarily visual, although auditory mediums have been documented. Specifically, two primary sources have been identified: a podcast based in Utah (SCP-XXXX-1) and a series of fliers which promote this podcast.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a right-wing political podcast talk show entitled "Little Women: The Kendall Leland Show" hosted by the titular Kendall Leland. The podcast espouses traditionally conservative, populist, and secularist messages with episodes focusing on the impact of feminism on society, gender roles, sexual orientation and religious rights, the impact of a large federal government, and the American Left. Along with Leland, two other unidentified individuals are credited as producers for the podcast.

Below is the transcript of SCP-XXXX-1's official description.

From major news media outlets reporting lies to social media sites actively censoring incorrect opinions, the American political climate has become filled with corruption and confusion. Follow Kendall Leland as she explores issues affecting modern-day Americans and attempts to answer the question 'What the hell happened?'.

Current estimates show that approximately 59.1% of Morgan County's female population has been affected by SCP-XXXX.

Addendum XXXX/1: History

Prior to the creation of SCP-XXXX-1, Leland was a politically active student at █████ ████████ University, where they were affiliated with, "█████ Students for Liberty and Democracy in the U.S.", the school's libertarian party. There, Leland started up an untitled political podcast wherein she interviewed a rotating cast of students from the school and occasionally held public debates. The podcast ran for three months before it was discovered by the school and shut down.

Leland was then expelled for repeatedly speaking about a rumor within the school about a pregnant student on their podcast, which ultimately resulted in said student committing suicide over backlash she faced. Following this incident, Leland moved back in with their parents in Utah and was unemployed for a short period. She would eventually become disillusioned with libertarianism and briefly aligned themselves with the Conservative party. She would later state of this part that, "[I felt] suffocated. Like, when [Conservatives] now say to me that they want the same things that I do, I can't help but laugh. They are the furthest thing from me."

During this period, it is believed that Leland came into contact with a representative from a paranatural political organization. This individual, who remains unidentified, encouraged Leland to start up a new podcast and offered financial support. Leland's next podcast, "The Kendall Leland Show" was the precursor to SCP-XXXX-1, and became wildly popular in their local area. Over the next six months, Leland earned enough money to pursue a career in political commentating.

On February 12th, 2020, the Foundation became notified of Leland's existence when their anomalous sponsor hosted a public seance in an abandoned apartment building. Leland's connection with this individual caused the Foundation to become aware of its existence. Currently, methods of suppressing SCP-XXXX-1 are being discussed.

Addendum XXXX/2: Neutralization Log (Provisional)

On April 2nd, 2020, SCP-XXXX-1 was suddenly taken down from all major media sites over the course of twenty-two minutes.

Evidence suggests that this mass takedown was due to a large amount of reports on a post sent from Leland's account on Twitter at 02:11 that night, resulting in them getting banned from the website. Seeing this, other major social media sites removed their account from their platform citing that same post. Fans of SCP-XXXX-1 initially claimed that the incriminating posts were faked in an attempt to get Leland removed from the platform, before most concluded that Leland's account had been hacked due to the time at which the post was sent.

A transcript of this post has been included below.

HELLO THIS IS KENDEL KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED] KILL [SLUR REMOVED]

Leland created a new Twitter account days later, and informed their followers that he account had in fact been hacked. Despite attempts to reach out to the websites that had banned them, none of their accounts thus far have been recovered. Foundation efforts are currently being used to ensure that this remains the case.

SCP-XXXX is currently pending reclassification as 'Neutralized'.

Outline

  • Iteration 1: A short, simple explanation of the phenomenon and little snippets of Kendall Leland's character. She's a complete Libertarian, defending her anti-gay stance by stating that the federal government shouldn't step on the rights of the religious. Just like how we shouldn't impose our own culture on others, we shouldn't impose a single culture onto all of the inhabitants of a very diverse country.
  • Iteration 2: The phenomenon has grown. The anomaly is the company itself now, which appears to have some kind of reality warping effect to the topics that it covers. There's a report of a small gang of people who listen to the show going out and lynching a homosexual in Utah, which is a large controversy within the community. Kendall denounces these people for using violence to achieve their means. These cult members were apparently worshipping a "power, reality-altering spectral entity which [was] apparently an avatar of their god."
  • Iteration 3: Full on warfare against the LGBT community in this one. It's a device located within the headquarters for the podcast, which has now been upgraded to an actual political branch of the Libertarian party. Members of this party occasionally have an event where a large amount of them march onto the streets and murder people. This is tied to a ritual within a basement of the building, but explorations have yielded nothing since no Foundation agent can get within the building. Most of the disturbing stuff happens in here.
  • Iteration 4: A gestalt entity between Kendall and an unknown demonic entity which has an apparent fetish for the destruction of humanity. This is carried out by its influence on others to kill, which serves to satisfy its own sexual pleasure. It's basically a parasite that attaches to humans in order to facilitate its desires. It chose Kendall, and then she does a ritual in order to get rid of it, after which it leaves and vows to return again. This ritual is massive, and
  • Iteration 5: A small article describing a phenomenon surrounding Researcher █████, stationed at Site-51. This phenomenon causes homosexual women within her vicinity to lose all sexual attraction towards women. Crosslink to SCP-4319.
