Special Containment Procedures: Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be tracked and intercepted by MTF Alpha-4 ("Pony Express"). If an SCP-XXXX event occurs, all civilians are to be amnestized and given false memories. All media relating to SCP-XXXX are to be suppressed.

Description:SCP-XXXX refers to an event in which a family receives white cardboard package on their front doorstep, henceforth referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 has no markings other than the word "family" signed in cursive across the top of the box. Testing with SCP-XXXX-1 reveals that the instances are extremely resistant against water damage, incineration, and blunt force.

When an SCP-XXXX-1 instance is opened, the affected family, hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-2, receives an instance of SCP-XXXX-3. SCP-XXXX-3 is a white mannequin with no remarkable features. When the SCP-XXXX-3 instance enters the home, the all members SCP-XXXX-3 treat SCP-XXXX-1 as if it were a family pet. SCP-XXXX-3 instances attempt to bath, feed, and play with SCP-XXXX-3, although it is never observed reacting to any of the stimuli.
If the SCP-XXXX-3 instance is removed, another instance replaces it within the next hour. SCP-XXXX-3 instances do not appear to notice any difference between the original and the replacement.
After 24 hours, one SCP-XXXX-2 instance is replaced by an SCP-XXXX-4 instance. SCP-XXXX-4 refers to another mannequin whose height and weight corresponds with the height and weight of SCP-XXXX-2 Dissection of SCP-XXXX-4 instances shows that the inside of SCP-XXXX-4 contains a mixture of flesh, bone, hair, skin, organs, and other parts of the original SCP-XXXX-2 instance. All remaining SCP-XXXX-2 continue to treat SCP-XXXX-4 as if it were still the family member.
After another 24 hours, another SCP-XXXX-2 individual will be replaced by an SCP-XXXX-4. This process continues until all SCP-XXXX-2 individuals are replaced with SCP-XXXX-4
Other individuals who frequently interact with SCP-XXXX-2 individuals report being in contact with SCP-XXXX-2 instances. For example, co-workers report seeing the SCP-XXXX-2 individual, or teachers may report being notified that the SCP-XXXX-2 instance had been excused from class.
Different individuals often report different, usually conflicting, accounts of SCP-XXXX-2's activities. This ceases after all SCP-XXXX-2 instances in the family are replaced with SCP-XXXX-4 instances. Individuals typically begin to notice the absence of SCP-XXXX-2.

March 10

Today I got a new friend. His name is Manny. He showd up on our doorstep, and Mom and Dad took him inside. He came in a box. Manny doesnt eat much, and he mosly jus lays around, but he is nice. Alan likes him too. He said he'll take us to the park tomoroww, I love my big brother. Bailey can't talk yet, but I think she likes Manny also.

March 11: Bailey reallly likes Manny. Thay play together so good and look like thay have so much fun. Alan and me try to have fun with them, but thay just get along with each other so good.

//Alan stayed home from school today I think he's sick. Nobody called from the school tho so maybee he had off today, but I didn't and i'm kinda upset. He didn't seem sick. He is getting along good with Bailey and Manny and they have so much fun twogtext together.
