The inside view of SCP-XXXX
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept in site [REDACTED]'s vehicle division at all times and is only to be approached by conformation from two level 3 personnel. The key to SCP-XXXX should be kept in Dr. Washington's office, and only be removed with a referral form signed by two level 3 personnel. If SCP-XXXX or any of its counter parts experience any damage, Task Force Blood Hounds should be alerted as soon as possible.
Description:
SCP-XXXX's exterior and interior seems to be a 90's style mobile home with no visible abnormalities inside or out, and is filled with normal looking appliances and furniture from late 90's except for [REDACTED], all arranged in a neat, OCD like manner. SCP-XXXX and everything inside is "indestructible", seeing as many attempts to purposely break multiple instances of SCP-XXXX, including SCP-XXXX itself, has resulted in the breaking of many on site hydraulic equipment, although when accidentally being subjected to damage under a much smaller amount of force would cause the item to break. This has resulted in the conclusion that all instances of SCP-XXXX can only be broken on "accident".
Despite the fact that testing has proven all substances are made up of non-biological, common materials, should any instances of SCP-XXXX be damaged, more specifically a tear or rip, SCP-XXXX will start to bleed from the exposed tear until the object is fixed. Fixing the object stops the blood flow immediately. When microscopic pictures are taken of broken surfaces to determine the source of blood, the pictures show up as static, and when they are viewed manually with a microscope, the glass lenses inexplicably shatter, leaving the origin of the blood a mystery. There are over 75 different items in SCP-XXXX, each with the similar anomalous property to "bleed". Differences in blood have been recorded, the most common being different blood types, but color and thickness have been reported.
When a subject enters or is within 1.5 meters of SCP-XXXX, they are affected by SCP-XXXX' radius of effect and apon entering the area of effect the subject will experience the following memetic symptoms,
- They will experience slight energetic personas, much like the symptoms of ADD or ADHD, though subjects already effected with the disorder seam to be unaffected by SCP-XXXX's memetic effects.
- The subjects perception and stability start to steadily decrease, but this process is so slow that it is unnoticeable during the first 15 minutes of being inside SCP-XXXX's area of effect.
When a person enters the clumsy state, they must remain full alert of there surroundings. Once the subject leaves SCP-XXXX, the time it takes for them to return to their original state of mind is about the same time they occupied the area of effect. When instances of SCP-XXXX are removed from SCP-XXXX, a similar memetic effect will surround the item, though its highly recommended that nothing is removed from SCP-XXXX because the radius of effect of the item will start to gradually increase until it is placed back in SCP-XXXX
Addendum:
The first instance of SCP-XXXX was found in [REDACTED] on ██/██/████, when a civilian noticed some abnormal dark red water flowing towards a storm drain. The civilian then continued to follow the trail of blood to SCP-XXXX, where a large pool of blood flowing from the door of SCP-XXXX could be seen. Upon trying the door it was discovered it was locked from the inside. Local authority's where alerted of the problem and presumed to try to forcibly open the door, but before the battering ram made contact with the door, SCP-XXXX unlocked and opend to reveal a couch with a slash along the side. SCP-XXXX's key was found in the pool of blood trailing from the cut. SCP officials in the area were alerted and Class-B anesthetics were given to all witnesses. SCP officials took SCP-XXXX to the closest site available. Upon arrival multiple theory's on how to stop the blood flow were tested, one of which resulted in the discovery of SCP-XXXX's invulnerability. Finally it was proposed that they should try fixing it, resulting in the discovery of SCP-XXXX's 3rd ability of repair. Once fixed, the bleeding stoped immediately. SCP-XXXX was assigned to Task Force Blood Hounds.
