Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5066 is to be kept in a humanoid cell in Sector-03 on Site ██. It is required to be secured within a sound-proof chamber with a single, air-tight vault door. An unarmed guard is required to confirm that the creature is still safely held within its room once every 4 hours. All testing on SCP-5066 is to be done while wearing a fully sealed sound-proof suit.

Description: SCP-5066 is a gaseous creature, with a form of a human from the chest up, and a smoke-like black mist chest down. It has been found that its entire for acts solely as a gas, with no physical form. SCP-5066, while not possessing any lungs, will attempt to lure any people that can hear it by imitating the voice of a loved one, dead or alive. This voice causes the affected (Which will be further noted as SCP-5066-1) to follow commands administered to it by SCP-5066. SCP-5066-1 will be unresponsive to any outside stimuli other than SCP-5066's voice until it can no longer be heard. The quality of voice heard by SCP-5066-1 doesn't seem to matter, seen in previous experiments, so all noise must be terminated before he/she can return to a responsive state.

SCP-5066 was recovered by Task Force Chi-9, along with SCP-████. Its exact location recovered was in ████████, Virginia. It was found accompanied by two SCP-5066-1's, who attacked the Task Force on sight. Task Force Chi-9 was exposed to SCP-5066's voice and were subsequently "hypnotised", as claims a member on-site during the incident. More details on this can be found in Addendum 5066.1. A portion of the team in a helicopter hovering above the scene called the ground forces through their headsets, overriding the voice of SCP-5066. The command was given that a white noise should be played through the headset during the course of the whole operation. TF Chi-9 successfully recovered SCP-5066 using an air vacuum to encapsulate it. It was returned to Site ██ to be contained while a suitable containment chamber could be found.

Addendum 5066.1: TF Chi-9 Incident Task Force Chi-9 was tasked with locating an abnormality in ████████, Virginia. SCP-5066 was found hovering in an alley near the two SCP-5066-1's. When Chi-9 Ground Force reached the scene, they were instantaneously hypnotised by SCP-5066's various voices. There were no eye-witnesses other than the Chi-9 aerial support, who were not affected by SCP-5066 due to the large distance between them, as well as the exceedingly loud propeller blades.
