SCP-3249
SCP-3249 is a doglike creature captured by the SCP foundation in its early days because it was first mentioned by native Americans in Northern Ohio and worshipped as a god. Legend spread far and wide about this creature in pre-colonial America and there are even stories of SCP-3249 attacking people on the Falkland Islands to Anchorage.

description: hound, brown hair with white spots, hackles 20cm long and made of rusty iron, brown eyes with a tint of red. Incredibly sharp fangs sharp enough to cut off a human head before you could blink.

abnormalities: sharp enough talons to cut through human skin within 0.05 seconds, can move at lightning fast speeds, seems to be bullet proof, doesn't appear to need food but does eat. excrement welds to steel if primarily made of human flesh, bones of the dead human turn to dust upon contact post the death, able to regenerate all limbs but not the torso.

Containment: heavy containment area of site [redacted] in a cage with walls made of 20 inches of steel then one inch of hydrochloric acid then another 20 inches of steel. there is only one way into the cage and that has a 30-inch-thick hatch made of steel and constantly guarded by 30 guards. it is 30m across and 10m tall. This Is all located in the heavy containment zone of site [redacted]

encounter year:1778
When George Washington heard about this Ohioan god, he personally led an expedition of 2,000 men to investigate. the slaughter that followed was absolute and swift, if you were walking by you wouldn't even hear screams all you would hear was the ripping of coats and skin with the light thud of human corpses dropping to the floor. the only survivor was Washington himself. the most interesting thing about this encounter is the fact that SCP-3249 came up to him at lightning speed after killing the last man under his command and it said with a growly voice "you shall live you have more left to do" and it slunk off into the woods. this was all post-1776. we believe from documents that this encounter sent him slightly insane, he was not himself and there was one occasion that an officer came to speak to the president and they saw him sitting in the corner of his office scratching three straight lines into his right arm. less than a week later Washington gave up his presidency.

a group of 5 teenage males and 2 females in southern Michigan were exploring a local forest and saw wolves about every 5 minutes so they were not very alarmed when they saw this abnormally large hound and they threw rocks at it and joking around, until its hackles raised and they saw the glint of metal and they started running but nothing is too fast for it and it killed all of them first it pounced on one male and one female, then it killed 2 males and 1 female until there were only 2 males left they were running for their lives until one knowing that only one of them at best were getting out of there alive, he grabbed a stick that was lying on a nearby log and he bashed it into his friends left leg, tripped up that friend was devoured by SCP-3249.

The SCP foundation then captured the creature in the year 2011 and lost 25 men in the process they were wearing clothes that were 3 inches of steel there since have been quite a few experiments on the SCP.

Experiment 1: we sent a class-d by the name of 8874 to find out how the SCP reacts to being in contact with a passive human. the following is the transcript of conversation between the class-d and medical staff.
CD: ok doc I’m in
MD: D-8874 please could you slowly move towards the animal and tell me everything that happens
CD: its ears are twitching and its slowly raising its head
MD: anything else we need more
CD: it opened it eyes, it looks like its assessing me
MD: does it look agitated?
CD: slightly but its letting me nearer, now its standing up.
MD: what’s it doing?
CD: I don't know it's slowly walking over to me, now its walking around me, please get me outta hear doc. DOC it's hackles they're made out of a strange rusty metal get me outta hear
MD: back into a corner show it that you respect it
CD: ok I’m in a corner its walking up to me, its baring its teeth
MD: *not to cd* yes sir it is going to be a failure as the creature is showing very aggressive behaviour and will probably kill the class-D so we need to plan a clean-up operation
CD: doc, what was that… *unintelligible screeching and screaming*

Experiment 2: we sent in a clearance team of 10 security detachment guards and 5 class-d's to clean up the remains of D-8874 and the excrement created by SCP-3249 after devouring D-8874's corpse. But the main experiment was to see how the SCP reacts to a large group of people entering the room it now sees as home. This was led by the medical staff of area 14 and Doctor Williams.
SD1: okay good doggie in the corner *points P-90 at SCP-3249*
SD2: CD's Get to cleaning don't worry you won't end up like this guy unless you misbehave *laughter from all SD's*
MD: SD's please make sure that SCP-3249 doesn't move out of that corner
CD1: sir the s**t is sort of welded to the floor
SD1: CD-3248 refrain from using profanity whilst here and what do you mean?
CD1: it’s not moving even if I use a knife under it, it’s just not moving
SD3: do you hear this sir?
MD: Yes SD-2032 this is being noted down as we speak now please let the class-D continue
CD1: the bones they’ve turned to dust oh god this is part of his back *picks up pile of dust that looked like bones*
CD2&3: *unintelligible screeching*
All Quickly exit room the mission had 2 casualties they were D-3247&D-3452. All security teams exited alive. As of this day we are not sure what happened because the class-d’s committed suicide and all the SD’s were killed by the chaos insurgency before they could tell us what happened. Were not sure what happened but the class-d’s bodies were never found.

Experiment 3: we sent SCP-3249 to see SCP-096. Results were varied as over the 3 sub tests in the first one 3249 had his neck broken and then we separated them second time 3249 took out all of 069’s limbs and the third time both lost all limbs. Results: there is no evolutionary edge between SCP -096 and SCP-3249 both can be used by the foundation as useful defences of areas such as site 17 and area 14. All class-e and above were evacuated to area 14

Escape attempt: in late June 2017 SCP-3249 and SCP-096 attempted to escape SCP-3249 as captured by our SD and MTF divisions in the local area of site 17. The attempt was aided by the chaos insurgency who attacked the class-D cell block creating a distraction as expected SCP-096 was able to escape as its picture had been seen by a class-d in Scotland . the class-d was killed. SCP-3249 was unable to escape the facility and only made it to the entrance zone of the facility before it was captured and stopped by 2 members of the ethics committee and 20 from the MTF lead by captain Jackson . since site 17 has been under high classification. And no CD’s have been freed to the outside world or even tested on with the SCP’s. since then SCP-3249 has attempted to escape 16 times none have gotten further than the cell of SCP-096.

Since we have conducted over 20 experiments on it (the others were not documented as they taught us almost nothing about SCP-3249) we have not opened the cell door to its cage in 43 days. We suspect it is frustrated and planning another break out.
