Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the Foundation’s inability to contain the SCP, and it’s unknown capabilities of how it can avoid containment, SCP-XXXX has been designated with the ‘Keter’ object class.
On foggy days, when the conditions are consistent with the ones to allow SCP-XXXX to appear, personnel are to be positioned on the ends of every runway at the airport, watching for SCP-XXXX. If an enigmatic occurrence is to happen on one of the ends of a runway, additional personnel on standby are to be rushed to the runway of the occurrence and replaced with the original personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX resembles a Boeing 747-400, it appears to have four (4) PW4000 engines, one of the three available engine configurations for airlines who ordered the 747-400. The registration of the aircraft is currently unknown. SCP-XXXX has the livery of Delta Airlines, giving a reason to why it only appears at ██████████ ███████ International Airport.
SCP-XXXX only appears on extremely foggy days, with very low visibility, which forces all airliners that need to land to use their ILS landing systems. SCP-XXXX will also normally land at night to lower visibility even more. The usual cycle for SCP-XXXX activity follows, it will land on a runway, mostly runway ███, depending on the circumstances, it occasionally will land on runway ███. From there, it will turn around and will proceed to depart from the opposite end of the runway it is positioned on or another one close to it.
SCP-XXXX is hypothesized to be intelligent or possess something inside that makes it intelligent, due to it’s supposed ability to make enigmatic occurances happen, including but not limited to vehicle brake lock-ups, engine overheating, and random firearm discharges.
SCP-XXXX does not appear on radar or radio frequencies, attempts by the tower at the airport to contact it on the hypothesized radio frequency it is using have resulted in the controller attempting said contact having his/her ears [DATA EXPUNGED]. Attempts to photograph SCP-4754 have also been unsuccessful, resulting in the camera producing a blank white photograph if taken.
Attempts to shoot down SCP-XXXX have been rendered ineffective, as any projectiles launched towards SCP-XXXX have additionally disappeared into the fog behind the it without a trace. Additionally, when attempting to fire projectiles at SCP-XXXX on the ground, the projectiles will usually jam and be rendered unable to fire. Utilizing drones have also not been fruitful, as they lose connection in the fog behind SCP-XXXX and are never found again.
Addendum 4754.01: O5-█ has ordered that SCP-XXXX be moved to Site-██ after containment has been achieved.
Addendum 4754.02: On all days in which the weather is consistent with the weather SCP-XXXX needs to be active, Foundation agents are to be planted into the ATC tower at ██████████ ███████ International Airport. They are to prevent non-Foundation personnel from interacting with SCP-XXXX by any means deemed necessary.
