Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:
The area around SCP-XXXX is to be heavily guarded at all costs, and the walls around SCP-XXXX are to be built in a way to be unscalable. No less than two guards at the entrance to the site, one guards at each corner of the site, and four guards encompassing the walls of SCP-XXXX

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a 20ft² cube of indeterminate material compound. The cube can not be moved, and any attempts to move the cube from SCP-XXXX's original spot has been met with failure.
SCP-XXXX is monitored to cause significant cognitive changes on those who are contained within for longer than 10 minutes. The effects of SCP-XXXX persist for 6 hours.
All personnel who have entered SCP-XXXX are required to go under a full psychological examination, including a fMRI scan alongside a EEG scan to make sure that no abnormalities occur.
Any D-Class personnel who regain memories prior to being in the foundation are to be brought back for Class-C or Class-G Amnestics.

Addendum 1:
The box appears to recuperate memories lost through Amnestics by unknown means. Side effects vary depending on the severity of the memories retrieved. It is noted that SCP-XXXX randomly selects an emotion and replays moments of the subject's life rapidly, applying those emotions to the context of those memories. It is currently unknown how wide a range of emotions that SCP-XXXX can extend, and requests for further studies have all been postponed.

Addendum 2:
After two and a half years of requests for further experiments on SCP-XXXX, Dr.Q was admitted to test the functionality on creatures who are clinically diagnosed as 'Brain dead' to observe the possibility of improved brain function after elongated exposure to the interior of SCP-XXXX, the result in doing such was the total, and complete ████████████████.

Interviewed: D-1793

Interviewer: Dr. Q

Foreword: Following D-1793 spending 10 minutes within SCP-XXXX

<Begin Log, October 4th 2011 11:52pm PST>

Dr.Q: "D-1793, please report your current emotional state after leaving SCP-XXXX"

D-1793: "I-I… I feel empty. As If my entire life was meaningless. I remember them. I remember killing my family… My brother, six years old. My sister, 23. My mom and dad, they just broke into their 40s… It's tearing me apart!"

Dr.Q: Surprised, He jotted down notes of D-1793 regaining memories from his prior life. "Do you remember anything else? How do these memories make you feel?"

D-1793: "I-I don't know. All I can remember is their faces… Their odor… The panic on their faces…" D-1793 started to convulse, just to collapse onto the ground; still breathing.

Dr.Q: With a heavy sigh, Dr.Q clicked his pen closed. "Alright, retrieve him, send him back to Site-██ as soon as possible for Amnestics."
