Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard biohazard containment cell, with drains placed optimally around the room to allow for disposal of SCP-XXXX's secretions. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX no absorbent materials are allowed inside of SCP-XXXX's cell during stages 1 through 4. During stage 5, SCP-XXXX is to be moved from his cell to another nearby cell of similar characteristics.

All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be held in containment rooms that match that of SCP-XXXX-1. Upon the completion of stage 5 and subsequent neutralisation of SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-1's remains are to be disposed of.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity which is continually in various stages of decomposition, this decomposition happens in the reverse to how a human would naturally decompose. Despite the obvious deterioration of SCP-XXXX, it maintains that it experiences no pain. The physical features, height, and weight of SCP-XXXX all vary depending on the current stage of decomposition. SCP-XXXX’s stages of decomposition are as follows:

  • Stage 1: All that remains of SCP-XXXX is bone. Movement is severely limited during this stage. This lasts for 7 days.
  • Stage 2: SCP-XXXX begins gradually regaining flesh during this period. This lasts for 30 days.
  • Stage 3: SCP-XXXX bloats, continues to regain flesh, and fluids return to the body. This lasts for 10 days.
  • Stage 4: SCP-XXXX will cease bloating, the last remains of flesh and fluids will return. This stage lasts for 7 days.
  • Stage 5: SCP-XXXX appears unaffected by their condition. This lasts for 3 days.

All affected by SCP-XXXX are hereby designated SCP-XXXX-1. Any living creature that comes into contact with either SCP-XXXX or it’s secretions will, over a period 5 days, transition into stage 1 of decomposition. SCP-XXXX-1 instances will continue to decompose in the same manner as SCP-XXXX until the end of stage 5, wherein SCP-XXXX-1 will pass away.
