Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard biohazard containment cell, with a single drain placed in the centre of the room. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX no absorbent materials are allowed inside of SCP-XXXX's cell during stages 1 through 4. During stage 5, SCP-XXXX is to be removed from his cell under the guard of three hazmat equipped guards, for a full psychiatric analysis while his cell is cleaned.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity which is continually in various stages of decomposition, these stages of decomposition happen in the reverse to how humans decompose. Despite the obvious deterioration of SCP-XXXX, it maintains that it is not in pain. The physical features, height, and weight of SCP-XXXX all vary depending on the current stage of decomposition. SCP-XXXX’s stages of decomposition are as follows:

  • Stage 1: All that remains of the subject is bone, this stage lasts for 10 days.
  • Stage 2: Subject begins gradually regaining flesh during this period, this stage lasts for 30 days and is the longest of the stages.
  • Stage 3: During this stage, SCP-XXXX bloats, continues to regain flesh, and fluids return to the body. This process lasts for 10 days.
  • Stage 4: Subject will become less bloated during, flesh has mostly returned, and fluids have returned. This stage lasts for 7 days.
  • Stage 5: By this stage SCP-XXXX appears unaffected by their condition. This is the shortest of the stages, only lasting 3 days.

All affected by SCP-XXXX are hereby designated SCP-XXXX-1. Any living creature that comes into contact with either SCP-XXXX or it’s secretions will - over a period 5 days - transition into stage 1 of decomposition. SCP-XXXX-1 instances will continue to decompose in the same way as SCP-XXXX until the end of stage 5, wherein SCP-XXXX-1 will pass away.
