Special Containment Procedures: All-male task force Delta-44 ("Speakers of the Depths") has been commissioned for the apprehension of SCP-952-Alpha and POI-874PL and the interruption of further breeding activity. Females suspected of being targeted by the 952-Alpha are to be detained and placed in protective custody until such time as the subject is contained or they age out of the subject's preferred target range. Any 952-Beta instances currently in-utero upon retrieval are to be terminated, and any independent offspring transferred to Foundation custody for study.

SCP-952-Beta-1, -2, and -5 are to be housed in block D-5 of Site 19 in a modified humanoid containment chamber. Instances have been permitted to cohabitate for practical purposes and to ensure continued cooperation and loyalty to the Foundation. At no time are Beta instances permitted to interact with female humans outside of approved testing scenarios. Attempts on behalf of 952-Alpha and its creator to communicate with currently-housed Beta instances are to be intercepted at all costs.

Description/952-Alpha: SCP-952-Alpha is a humanoid entity, approximately 189cm in height, possessing the appearance of a male human between the ages of 16 and 25. Testimony gathered from pursuing agents and the subject's victims suggest that this appearance is the result of an advanced form of optical camouflage, as audio and tactile sensations experienced while in contact with the entity often deviate from visual perception¹. The subject is capable of altering this camoflauge, and makes use of this to appeal to its victims' preferences, typically adopting the identity of an individual of similar age and ethnicity.

SCP-952-Alpha possesses an acute ability to telepathically influence the emotional states of human females, and is capable of persuading them to perform nearly any task on its behalf. The entity primarily targets females between the ages of 15 and 20, with a preference for victims lacking a well-developed social group or substantial parental supervision². When a suitable mark is found, the subject invariably uses its abilities to manipulate the target into entering into a secretive romantic relationship, using a number of cover stories ranging from the mundane to the bizarre³. The content of the subject's narrative does not seem to have any impact on its ability to manipulate a victim; once so influenced, the target's rational thinking becomes impaired in relation to the subject.

Victims of SCP-962-Alpha remain loyal to the subject for an extended period of time even when denied further contact with the entity, ranging from one week to up to five months. The subject and its creator appear to use this phenomena to maintain a network of saboteurs to aid the subject in resisting capture.

The apparent goal of the 952-Alpha's activities is to impregnate a large number of human females, leading to the creation of instances of SCP-952-Beta.

Description/952-Beta: SCP-952-Beta is a collective designation for offspring sired between SCP-952-Alpha and a human female. At the time of initial identification, instances resembled mutated humanoid fetuses possessing a variety of ungulate-like characteristics⁴. Instances were non-viable and typically expired within one month of birth due to complications brought about by their anatomy. However, on 6/12/199█, two years after initial identification of SCP-952-Alpha, a viable instance was recovered in █████, Massachusetts, shortly after birth. This instance was retained in Foundation custody for study and designated SCP-952-Beta-1.

Viable instances of SCP-952-Beta are not uniform, but share an established pattern of growth and baseline anomalous properties. As they mature, instances continually shed or reconfigure any outward characteristics that deviate from those of humans, generally achieving a fully human appearance by the age of 11. At approximately the same time as human appearance is achieved, instances begin to exhibit a lesser form of SCP-952-Alpha's suggestive properties, once again affecting only human females of reproductive age. SCP-952-Beta instances do not appear capable of the level of precise manipulation exercised by their progenitor. Testing has shown that instances are incapable of producing offspring of their own at this time⁵.

At present, 5 Beta instances have been contained and a further ███ terminated in-utero or during attempted containment. Due to the increasing percentage of viable offspring and the limits of Foundation resources, further instances are to be contained only if they exhibit deviation from the established growth pattern.

2. There are currently two recorded cases of the subject deviating from this pattern; in both cases, the victim was found to possess unrelated anomalous properties upon retrieval. How it is able to sense the presence of these properties is unclear.

3. SCP-952-Alpha has claimed to be, among other things: the last of the Atlanteans, an alien seeking to repopulate its species, and a senior Foundation operative.
