SCP-XXXX 'A toy mosasaurus'
Object class: safe

Containment procedures: SCP-XXXX is to kept in a simple 4x4x4 meter cube of concrete filled with water. All survalence are permitted inside the cell, but no organic matter is. Personel of clearance levels 2 and above are permitted to observe the object via the cameras. There is to be a hatch-door on the top of this cube to allow feeding of the SCP. The water of this cell is to be changed every 3-4 weeks, or right after feeding if SCP-XXXX is particulary messy with letting blood into the water.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small toy dinosaur, most closely resembling a mosasaurus. All testing that has been done has concluded no annomolous matter is present in or on the SCP, and it is simply made of the plastic and acrylic paint you'd expect out of a toy like this. SCP-XXXX is cheaply made, having rough seams where two halfs were put together running along both of its sides, meeting at its snout tip and tail tip. SCP-XXXX measures 5.1cm from snout to tail and about 0.8cm from belly to dorsal. SCP-XXXX was recovered from a home in Dublin city, Ireland, after reports of a 2-year-old child waking up with strange, small bite marks across her forearms and face made the news. SCP-XXXX is predetory, and will shred and consume any organic matter it can get to, should it feel hungry. Despite this, SCP-XXXX has been shown to be hollow inside, containing no organs or even a place to store food. The SCP has been shown to not grow bigger as it eats, but when left unfed for periods of two or more weeks its swimming about the cell has shown to slow, and on one occasion it appeared to 'die', floating along at the very top of the cube. Movement resumed after feeding. Should the SCP be handeled it can and will bite hands, fingers and faces of those around it via flinging itself with its tail. Though the teeth do not appear sharp, it has been proven by bites on more then one occasion that they are, in fact, sharp.
