Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-J is to be kept in a locked box at Site-314. Any personnel attempting to come into contact with SCP-XXXX-J without permission from a Level 2 Level 3 personnel and above are to undergo a multitude of psychiatric tests. The box is to be opened and replaced every 3 (Three) weeks as signs of slow degradation begin to appear after a short period of time.
Description: SCP-XXXX-J is a pair of tangled, white, Apple branded earphones with a slight degradation on the left earbud. SCP-XXXX-J was found in a home in West Oxfordshire, England on 03.06.2017. The foundation was alerted after 68 (Sixty Eight) suicides were reported in the area and decided to investigate. When someone attempts to untangle SCP-XXXX-J, they will get a sense of frustration. However, subjects trying to untangle SCP-XXXX-J cannot willingly stop and will carry on until suicide or starvation occurs. The degradation on the left earbud was suspected to come from a victim's frustration in some form of violence or SCP-XXXX-J degrading itself. Subjects who survive attempting to untangle SCP-XXXX-J have reports of permanent mental health issues. Reported mental health issues have been bi-polarism, depression, anxiety and [REDACTED]. Subjects that attempt to plug an earbud in lose all functions except basic speech, breathing, etc. This does only appear to be a physical block as brain activity does not falter.

Subject: SCP-682.
Procedure: D-6391 was tasked with placing SCP-XXXX-J over SCP-682's ears.
Results: SCP-682 was unaffected and brutally mauled D-6391 to death within 5 seconds.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX-J can not incapacitate SCP-682.
