Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 5 x 5 meter chamber, containing ONE (1) child-sized bed, ONE (1) enclosed (see Addendum) source of heat above 1000°C, and rations to sustain an average child to be renewed every 168 hours.

When SCP-XXXX is forcefully taken away from a heat source, or aggravated in another way, it will attempt to tear off any nearby flesh and burn it in the nearest flame, while chanting "Sacrifice to the flame." It is currently unknown what SCP-XXXX means by this.

During testing, personnel are advised to remain as calm as possible, to avoid aggravation of SCP-XXXX, and activation of its anomalous properties.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity of unknown origin. SCP-XXXX takes the appearance and mannerisms of a mid-pubescent child, although it seems to have the intelligence of a middle-aged adult. SCP-XXXX is fluent in modern English, but usually only communicates when it requires sustenance or when it's secondary anomalous effect occurs. SCP-XXXX has been observed to be attracted to temperatures above 1000°C, and will react excitedly when within a 20-meter radius of a heat source, regardless of any evidence of the existence of said source. SCP-XXXX does not seem to react to any anomalous heat sources.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered on ██/██/████ in an alleyway of █████, ██████, staring at a dumpster fire. When a distressed citizen approached SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX responded instantaneously snapping its neck backward and [REDACTED].
