Description: SCP-XXXX is a CD-ROM of standard size. Upon inserting SCP-XXXX into a compatible disc drive and scanning the disc, it will launch a program called "halcyon.exe". This program functions as a common psychological horror game. Upon opening the program, it will load for a brief period, then display a start screen with "Play" and "Exit" settings. The program may be exited without penalty on this screen. When the "Play" button is clicked, the player will be taken to a screen where the player is able to choose a difficulty. The options available are as follows:

"Easy", tagline "For your first time."
In Easy difficulty, the mini-bosses are much less powerful and the player has more health.

"Normal", tagline "When your [sic] acquainted to Halcyon, choose this option."
In Normal difficulty, the mini-bosses are at the standard power level. The player has standard health.

"Hard", tagline "High risk, high reward. For veteran players."

"Nightmare", tagline [DATA EXPUNGED].

Upon choosing an option, the game begins. The player begins in a dilapidated exam room similar to those used in hospitals. This room hides the player from any in-game entities. When the room is exited, the building's roof collapses on top of the room, rendering it inaccessible. The player is then free to explore the hospital as they please. In order to complete the game, the player must defeat 13 mini-bosses, which appear as mutated human beings.
Once the player completes the game, they receive a physical reward of some kind. This reward is commensurate to the difficulty set. The reward will spontaneously appear in a location near the player.
Similarly, if the player fails to complete the game, they will be punished in some way. The punishment is also based on the difficulty.
