Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: All Civilians living near a swimming pool infected by SCP-XXXX-A should be kept away from the immediate area. Mobile Task Forces dealing with civilians living near infected areas should give them the backstory that the pools are closing down because of financial issues.

If any instances of SCP-XXXX-B are found outside of a SCP-XXXX-A pool they should be immediately terminated and the body incinerated. If SCP-XXXX-B is found inside a populated area, all civilians that could of came in contact with SCP-XXXX-B should be detained and monitored. If the detainee is found clear of SCP-XXXX-A they should be given Class B Amnestics. If not cleared of SCP-XXXX-C they should be executed or moved to a infected area, if execution is not the clearest course of action.

If a uninfected civilian is found inside an infected swimming pool they should be taken in for interrogation and if clear given Class C Amnestics and returned home. If not clear they can be kept inside the foundation for further testing by D-Class personnel.

Description: SCP-XXXX-A is a virus of unknown origins. It is only found inside swimming pools because of is concentration of chemicals perfect to support their habitat and ways of living. Its structure is unnormal compared to standard cells as two nucleases have been found inside instances of SCP-XXXX-A. Once a swimming pool is infected by SCP-XXXX-A it is incredibly hard to disinfect due to SCP-XXXX-A's nature of rapid evolution.

SCP-XXXX-B is a humanoid female that has been infected via SCP-XXXX-A. Its body is similar to a normal 23 year old woman's apart from its face. A white mask made of latex will grow over the face of SCP-XXXX-B leaving only eyes, mouth and nose holes. The skin under the mask is similar to a 1st degree burn victims face.

If the mask is removed from the face of a instance if SCP-XXXX-B, it will become extremely violent and attempt to disembowel the perpetrator with its nails. Only D-Class personnel are advised to remove the mask for testing purposes.

The vocal cords of an instance of SCP-XXXX-B are intact and it can talk, although it prefers to use sign language. Researchers are advised to talk in whatever language SCP-XXXX-B prefers to avoid it becoming hostile.

Addendum: After extensive research has been conducted it has been found that only 20 instances of SCP-XXXX-B can exist at one time. If anymore civilians become infected, instead of becoming SCP-XXXX-B they will die due to organ failure within a two hour time period.
