Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell at Site-43 and tests on its protective abilities are to be conducted monthly.
Every two months.

No more tests are to be conducted on SCP-XXXX without Dr Morter's approval and SCP-XXXX-2 is to have weekly meetings with Dr. Young from the Psychology and parapsychology departement. Psychological help should also be provided to SCP-XXXX-2 on demand.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 consists of 5 stuffed animals, belonging to SCP-XXXX-2, designated SCP-XXXX-1-A to SCP-XXXX-1-E. These have all been confirmed as non-anomalous in nature, only interacting anomalously when in contact with SCP-XXXX-2.

SCP-XXXX-2 is a Caucasian Canadian adult male presenting severe signs of depression. SCP-XXXX-2's anomaly manifests when it faces a situation of fear or distress before coming in contact with at least one SCP-XXXX-1 entity. A protective sphere will then appear, surrounding SCP-XXXX and everything directly in contact with SCP-XXXX-2's body. While the sphere is present, nothing is able to enter nor exit the sphere, with the exception of other SCP-XXXX-1 objects and anything SCP-XXXX-2 desires to have protected at the moment, until SCP-XXXX-2 calms itself or looses contact with every SCP-XXXX-1 entities.

SCP-XXXX-2 also has a behavior of coming in contact with the most SCP-XXXX-1 possible during these events, even though this has no real effect on its abilities. This is related to SCP-XXXX-2's belief that the sphere does not in fact come from him, but from his stuffed animals. Per 12/21/2020, SCP-XXXX-2 has accepted its anomalous property as its own, but still needs SCP-XXXX-1 objects to activate it.

SCP-XXXX-2 was recovered from its burnt house on 11/16/2016, protected by its sphere while holding every SCP-XXXX-1 entity. He was apprehended by psychological staff, before being taken to site 43.
The following interview was conducted by Dr Morter, assigned as lead researcher for SCP-XXXX, upon SCP-XXXX's arrival at the site:

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-2

Interviewer: Dr. Olivander Morter, Level 3 Clearance, Site-43 Research and Experimentation department.

Dr. Morter: Good morning, you may call me Dr Morter. Could you please state your name for record purposes?

SCP-XXXX-2: L-Louis Tremblay.

Dr. Morter: Do you know why you find yourself here?

SCP-XXXX-2: No.

Dr Morter: You are in the SCP Foundation, we will be containing and doing tests on you because you manifest an anomaly, which could be a danger for other people and yourself if aknowledged by too many outside of our organisation.

SCP-XXXX-2: What anomaly? Do you mean my animals' protection? It's not my power, it's theirs. They- they've always protected me.

Dr Morter: Mhm. Dr Morter is seen writing down some notes. Also, by our Ethics Comitee's new recommandations concerning human SCPs I must ask you if you had someone you wanted to talk to one last time, before they get amnesticized and forget about you.

SCP-XXXX-2: Almost inaudibly. Its head is now lowered, facing the ground. No.

Dr Morter: Could you repeat this please?

SCP-XXXX-2: Louder, but the sound is muffled by SCP-XXXX-2's arms, which's head is now between, laid on the table. I said no. I've got nobody to talk to.

Dr Morter: Good. Thank you for your cooperation, I will see you tomorrow for your first test.

Until guards arrived in the interrogation room, SCP-XXXX-2 stayed in the same position for 3 minutes, head between its arms, lying on the table, with low sobbing and crying being heard from the room.

SCP-XXXX-2 seems to believe the sphere does not come from him, but SCP-XXXX-1-A to -E, which were all confirmed to be non-anomalous. Information on the nature of this relationship and the sphere may reveal itself during testing. - O. Morter

Test A - 11/17/2016

Procedure: An agent threatens SCP-XXXX-2 with a gun. Once the protective sphere appears, the agent shoots on the sphere in a way that could not hurt SCP-XXXX-2.

Results: SCP-XXXX's sphere appeared the second the agent pulled out his gun, as SCP-XXXX-2 fell and curled up on the floor, hugging his SCP-XXXX-1s and crying after a few seconds. The bullet shot by the agent simply stopped is course when touching the sphere, seemingly loosing all of its speed upon contact with it.

Analysis: The protective sphere surrounding SCP-XXXX-2 is confirmed to appear instantly as it senses danger and could potentially have some reality bending effects with the way it stopped the bullet.

The only problem is that he continued crying and being protected for 2 hours before being finally calmed down by the psychological staff on site and taken back to his cell. I really hope he will get used to it, because we still have to do a bunch more tests on his abilities and I don't want to have to call for a team of psychologists every month. - O. Morter

Test C - 01/17/2017

Procedure: SCP-XXXX-2 is put in a chamber with SCP-XXXX-1-A through C sitting on a table. A part of the room's floor is then set on fire.

Results: SCP-XXXX's sphere did not appear instantly as the fire started, as SCP-XXXX-2 tried putting it down without taking any SCP-XXXX-1 in his hands, until it started spreading around him. He then ran and sat in the only untouched corner with SCP-XXXX-1 objects in his arms while hyperventilating, the sphere appearing the instant he touched SCP-XXXX-1-C. The moment the fire touched the sphere, it evaporated into water vapour and this evaporation cycle continued until an agent entered and put the fire out.

Analysis: The reality bending theory could explain the way the sphere made the fire evaporate although not being made of water. Other tests would be needed to confirm this hypothesis.

It's the third test and it still went horribly after the procedure ended. I know his ability works with fear and when he feels threatened, but maybe putting him in the same situation leading to our discovery of him and his house being destroyed was not the best idea. - O. Morter

Test J - 08/17/2017

Procedure: Reported. See Addendum XXXX.C.

Analysis: I already started to feel bad for the kid, but now it's just plain sad. Still, researchers continue to have more tests ideas and we still have no real idea of the extent of his anomaly and a clear explanation of how it works, so we gotta do more tests.

I think I'll go check up on him when he gets out of the psych ward. - O. Morter

Test K - 11/04/2017

Procedure: Drop SCP-XXXX-2, holding every SCP-XXXX-1 objects, from a plane without a parachute. Aborted on order of lead researcher Dr. Morter

Analysis: No, just no. I'm the lead researcher and right now the tests that are proposed to me are becoming more and more like torture and less like useful tests. And if there is an SCP that does not deserve any of that, its him. We threatened him with any possible weapon, almost burned and drowned him and we still don't fully understand how is sphere works, but what I'm sure of is that we won't learn anything more from him if he doesn't get better mentaly, or god forbid, succeeds in another Incident XXXX-2.1 attempt. If we keep doing that, someday he'll just won't pick up his stuffed animals and let himself die.

I'm ending the tests and sending all of his files to Psychology and parapsychology. Hopefully they'll be able to help him and find how his anomaly works better than us. - O. Morter

On recommendation of Dr. Morter and with the approval of Director McInnis, all tests regarding SCP-XXXX-2 are to be stopped until Dr. Morter approves of it.

Dr. Morter: Good morning. How are you?

SCP-XXXX-2: SCP-XXXX-2 is lying on his bed. He does not answer.

Dr. Morter: I just wanted to check if everything was all right with you.

SCP-XXXX-2: Mhm.

Dr. Morter: I also need to tell you that you will still have some tests to do with us. I reduced their frequency, but we still need to understand how your anomaly works.

SCP-XXXX-2: I've already told you, it's not me, it's them.

Dr. Morter: Yes, I know, I know. Well, if you wan't to talk to someone, the psychological staff is always there and if you want some books to pass the time we have some you know.

SCP-XXXX-2: I can't read. I'm concussioned.

Dr. Morter: Sorry. Goodbye, I will see you in two months.

Dr. Morter exits the room.

Dr. Morter: Good afternoon XXXX-2.

SCP-XXXX-2: Hi.

Dr. Morter: How are you feeling today?

SCP-XXXX-2: You know what? I will answer to your question today, because I'm so done with you people that I don't even care about what you will do to me next. How good could I [EXPUNGED] be? I've been stuck in that cell for almost a year now and you [EXPUNGED] still need to do tests on me. Ohhhhhhhh sure you've reduce their frequency, thaaaaaaaanks doctor. You [EXPUNGED] where so lucky that it was me and not anybody else that had my anomaly as you call it, because I was already a loner, a [EXPUNGED] looser that saw talked to nobody. Looks like my situation hasn't change huh? He starts crying and looses the confidence he had. S-So yeah k-keep doing those tests on me and see w-what they do to me, I don't [EXPUNGED] care anymore.

45 seconds of silence take place between the SCP and the doctor, while SCP-XXXX-2 cries, his hands on his face.

Dr. Morter: I was just here to tell you that I asked for the end of testing on you. As of now, nothing will happen to you without my approbation. Also, you will start having weekly meetings with Dr. Young from Pshychology. Small silence. Good afternoon, Louis.

Dr. Morter exits the room while SCP-XXXX-2 progressively stops crying.

Foreword: Seeing that talking to Dr. Morter helped improving XXXX-2's mental state in July, Dr. Young asked him to go and see XXXX-2 and talk with him once per month.

Dr. Morter: Hello Louis.

XXXX-2: Hi doctor.

Dr. Morter: Doing good this morning?

XXXX-2: Yes, I've been reading the books you told me about lately.

Dr. Morter: Well that is great. How's Dr. Young?

XXXX-2: She is doing well, I will tell her you asked, she will be happy.

Dr. Morter: Blushes a bit. So, anything else you wanted to talk about before I go?

XXXX-2: Yeah. One thing.

Dr. Morter: Ok, well I'm all ears. Dr. Morter takes a chair and sits down.

XXXX-2: Hum ok, well hum, I just wanted to tell you that I now understand that the power I have comes from me. While talking with Dr. Young about it, I realized that I'm the one doing it and I know I'm really stupid for having me taking so long to fully accept it, but I'm happy now. I know I will still be stuck in here for a long time, but with you and Dr. Young, I feel like I have people caring about me for the first time and it doesn't seem that bad.

Dr. Morter: Little silence. Well, huh, no problem, I'm here for you. I'm really sorry but I've gotta go now, I have a meeting with Director McInnis in five minutes.

XXXX-2: It's ok. I will probably ask you for some more books soon. Thanks Olivander.
