| SCP-5869 recovered in ██████ Aswan, Egypt |
Item: SCP-5869
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5869 is kept within Site-17's Anomalous Medical Storage room. Only Foundation personnel with the necessary permissions from acting Lead Researcher Müller may use SCP-5869 due to its limited quantity.
All personnel who attempt to utilize SCP-5869 without the necessary clearance must be reported to MTF Delta-5 ("Front Runners") for possible foul-play.
Description: SCP-5869 appears to be a makeshift pill bottle poorly labeled as " STP-08 ". The bottle is actually some kind of empty hair product jar used to hold the pills inside it. It has a small printed description on the duct taped paper logo to it.
Its description reads as follows: " Losing a limb can be a pain sometimes. However, now with STP-08 you can temporarily have your limbs back with NO symptoms! The effects last up to 24 hours! WARNING do not take more than one pill a day. "
When ingested by a person without any missing limbs, a random limb will begin to glow the color red around it.
When the affected limb has a red aura around it almost nothing can damage said limb. Any attempts to amputate it fail completely, and shooting the affected limb will cause the bullet to ricochet away from the target.
If the drug is taken by someone WITH an amputated arm, a holograph red limb replacement will form in the amputated area. It will have the same effects and last an entire 24 hours.
If the subject is given another dose of the SCP without waiting 24 hours he/she will immediately die within 30 minutes to an hour. The drugs effect will be doubled and two aura's are formed instead of one. This will happen almost instantly as the subject's eyes would begin to bleed slowly non-stop until the user dies.
It's unknown why you can't take more then one of these pills. However, I know this was intentionally done by them…. - Müller
Recovery: SCP- 5869 was discovered in the poor streets of Aswan, Egypt. The suspect was caught selling drugs of anomalous properties by an ENP detective. The drug dealer was seen in the footage of his arrest throwing away what seemed to be other drugs with possible anomalous properties into the lake; before he was apprehended.
This eventually caught the attention of MTF Delta-5 to investigate the origins of the drug. The people involved were amnesties and the suspect was taken in for investigation. (see below Addendum-5869)
Addendum-5869-1: The SCP itself isn't a threat but the origins of its possible creations is. Any and all correlations to the unknown group are to be studied for further analysis. The following interview of the dealer and Delt-5 unit include the following log.
Interviewed: Jack Sternum
Interviewer: MTF Delta-5 Unit Belmont
Foreword: The drug dealer going by the name Jack Sternum is being interrogated on who he's affiliated with and the SCPs origin.
<Begin Log>
Belmont: Good afternoon sir, you mind telling me what your name is?
Jack Sternum: eh, my names, Jack Sternum- And before you ask no I had no idea that this drug was "anomalous" or whatever you call it.
Belmont: you and I both know that's a lie jack. People don't just, get an anomalous drug out of nowhere-
Jack Sternum: I want my fucking lawyer. I'm not talking to you anymore, you're not even a Police Officer.
Belmont: (sigh) I figured you say that Jack. Tell me does your wife know that you're working for a possible anomalous terrorist group? Mesi Hassan if I'm correct.
( Belmont shows pictures of Jack and his wife's house; as well as pictures of his other relatives. Jack's Eyes widened, as he can be seen sweating)
Jack Sternum: H-how that fuck did you know tha-
Belmont: Info like that comes easy to the foundation Jack. You made a mistake working with this "mysterious" GOI, but you can redeem yourself and your family by telling us what we want to know.
Jack Sternum: I- I can't tell you man…I- I fucking can't!
(Jack's in tears at this point…)
Belmont: Yes you can Jack, think about your family! Do you want to risk their safety just to help your druggy group?
Jack Sternum: That's exactly why I can't tell you man! They can hear us at this very moment. I can feel it already taking effect and I haven't told you shit yet!
Belmont: What do you mean it's already taking effect? What are they doing to you?
Jack Sternum: You really want to know what kind of people you're messing with? I'll show you god damnit!
( Jack lifts up his shirt to show a red glowing tattoo slowly growing from his lower up to his chest. Jack coughs up blood and puts his shirt down. Belmont's eyes slightly widen.)
Belmont: Their Reality Benders? Jesus, do you want me to get a medical in here?!
Jack Sternum: Their not all reality benders, and It doesn't fucking matter, its too late for me anyway. If you're so interested in them then head over to ARCE lab if it's still around. (coughs up blood) All I'll give you is a name: Sh-
( As soon as Jack Sternum uttered the full name he immediately began to cough out blood, as the red tattoo grew 10 times faster than normal. It reached his face before Jack immediately fell to the ground, passing away. Belmont is seen yelling for the medical team to help him.)

Addendum-5869-2:
Initiate tape log
This "new'' GOI is starting to get the attention of level 4 personal and above. The rest of the research team don't see the Shikari Tribe as a threat or danger to the foundation, but I have my doubts. Why would they go through such great lengths to even hide their names? At first we thought the group had mainly resided around Egypt, but were severely wrong. More and more reports of "Magical Drugs' ' being sold in the U.S, Canada, Russia, Japan, and even Africa. We were able to get a few of these anomalous drugs but orders from level 5 were to keep it classified until further notice.
Can you believe that? Since when have we ever refrained from putting down an anomalous entity into the foundation? We begin to receive reports of people suffering 3rd degree burns, Random suicides, and disappearances without a trace. One person even reported saying " The guy just shot fucking fire out if his hands like it was nothing!". I left site-17 and I'm currently residing in site-65. I don't want to risk getting killed by whatever the hell that group is. It's not that I don't want to study them, I'm just concerned for my safety.
The log…. It doesn't add up. The tattoo on Jack's body was obviously the work of a reality bender; but how strong was it? The estimated distance had to be around 20 miles at the very least. Yet the person who did this was not only able to hurt Jack, but also able to listen in on the interrogation. I have hundreds of questions in my mind but no answers to any of them…
Note: This was a log left behind after Dr Müller transferred over to site-65 to in his own words " Avoid risks."
