Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3526 is to be kept on the second floor break room at Site-18, and is to be accompanied by 1 Site personnel at all times. No personnel under level (3) clearance shall be allowed access to SCP-3526 (See incident 1-A and 1-B). SCP-3526 must always have a warning sign above it to prevent further incidents.

Description: SCP-3526 is a brightly colored red and silver gum ball machine that is approximately 1m tall, and weighs from 70 to 73 pounds depending on how many gum balls are in the machine. The material of SCP-3526 is unknown; tests show that the material is nearly indestructible.

SCP-3526 is different from all other gumball machines; there is no dispenser, there is no coin slot, the glass is in pristine condition despite the wear and tear everywhere else, and there is no slot to put in gumballs. Researchers are unaware of what SCP-3526 does with the quarters.

On the top of SCP-3526, there is a human-like mouth filled with 2 rows of 14 teeth on the upper and lower jaw. SCP-3526 is capable of speaking English and French. However, SCP-3526 does not talk to anyone who hasn't purchased SCP-3526-1. When SCP-3526 does speak, it only talks about "how nice it would be if the previous customer would buy another gum ball".

When approached, SCP-3526 will open it's mouth and stick it's tongue out. When given anything other than the American quarter, SCP-3526 will spit it out and shouts profanities. After receiving a quarter, the mouth will close and SCP-3526 will make loud grinding noises. After the grinding has stopped, the mouth of SCP-3526 will vibrate and dispense a small gum ball designated SCP-3526-1. SCP-3526-3 is 1cm in diameter, and looks like a normal gumball. However, SCP-3526-1 is made of plastic and can be opened.

When opened, a mixture of the same food the recipient had the night before will be inside the gumball. The food inside SCP-3526-1 is condensed into a gumball like shape. SCP-3526-1's taste varies on the food, but on average D-Class claims SCP-3526-1 tastes pretty good. After being consumed, the eater claims they are full. Tests showed that SCP-3526-1 contains an average of 650 calories. Interesting enough, SCP-3526 has no nutritional value but is completely safe to eat.

Recovery: SCP-3526 was found in a Walmart in Lebanon Pennsylvania on 9/8/17. The foundation had heard reports of a man dressed in all white carrying a talking gum ball dispenser around the store. Witnesses say the man was about 6 feet tall and had no facial features. The man's location is unknown.

Addendum: Scp-3526 says "Goodbye" to personnel when they leave the break room and says "Hello" when they come in. Personnel find the gum ball machine to be friendly.

Addendum 1: The following is a document of Incident 1-A

On 10/1/17, Dr. Hayden (Level (2) Clearance) was in the process of purchasing SCP-3526-1 when his finger got caught SCP-3526's mouth. Dr. Hayden's finger was bitten clean off. SCP-3526 apologized profusely, blaming Dr. Hayden for being too slow. After his recovery, he suggested the object class of SCP-3526 be moved from Safe to Euclid. The request was denied.

Addendum 2: The following is a document of Incident 1-B:

On 11/5/17 Dr. Jones (Level (2) Clearance) purchased SCP-3526-1. When SCP-3526-1 was opened, Dr. Jones stomach acid spilled all over his shirt. The stomach acid burnt his skin and shirt down to the muscles in his arm. Dr. Jones had not eaten anything prior. SCP-3526 did not say anything. Site officials banned Level (2) personnel access to SCP-3526 after Incident 1-B.
