Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a storage locker located at Site-20. SCP-XXXX is not to be removed from said locker unless authorized by those of Level 2 or higher clearance for testing purposes only. Any unauthorized deviations will lead to punishment by on site administration.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a black, 1950's era public telephone composed of aluminium, iron, and various other metals. However, key features common to the model are missing, including coin deposit slots, instruction sheet, and a power supply cable. Despite lack of sufficient power needed to operate a phone of similar make and model, SCP-XXXX can act as a communication device, however such use is ill-advised over a period of 5 minutes as a high pitched mechanical screech is produced from the speaker residing in the handset reaching above 140 decibels resulting in damage to the eardrum, however no damage to the speaker itself.

An aged sheet of paper resides where an instruction pamphlet normally resides, reading the following:
