Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4352 is to not be entered unless given permission by security clearance 4 or higher, when given access, 2 or more personnel must enter. All personnel must not have a criminal record, long-term illnesses, or any near death experiences; no D-Class personnel must enter SCP-4352. If a subject is in distress, all lights must be turned off to terminate any instances of SCP-4352-2. All entrances apart from the back door of SCP-4352 are to be blocked; the back door must be guarded by 3 MTF. Any persons showing interest are to be told that the building is "in renovation".
Description: SCP-4352 is a 14 story office building built in 1972, located in ██████, England. It was closed in 1986 when 3 men were discovered dead with injuries such as deep cuts, severed fingers, and a missing ████. Another 1 personnel was killed after further explorations of SCP-4352 (see Addendum 2). The entity is active for 1-5 hours every night between 7:50PM and 5:40AM from current knowledge; this is only known from expeditions into the building.
SCP-4352 seems to show life-like visions of dreams, nightmares and thoughts. Subjects who've experienced the entity have said that these can move, can be smelled, heard and also felt by the subject. Normally, the subject will go through a memory they have had, such as meeting with a friend, a first date, or a dinner with the family; others have see more out of ordinary visions; due to the danger of these, only selected personnel can enter SCP-4352. Most visions in the building lead to 1 or more instances of SCP-4352-2.
SCP-4352-2 is a person or animal seen in SCP-4352. Depending on the things witnessed in SCP-4352, SCP-4352-2 will act differently. Usually SCP-4352-2 will act friendly to the chosen subjects. The subjects can interact with SCP-4352-2 and some subjects have even said to have conversations with it. If a subject is in terror or seems very frightened, it is not recommended that they attempt to interact with SCP-4352-2.
All experiences with SCP-4352 and SCP-4352-2 are only smelt, heard, felt and seen by the subject. Each subject will have their own visions.
If a subject is being harmed, all lights in the building are to be turned off immediately for at least 5 seconds. For some reason, this removes all visions currently being experienced in SCP-4352, including SCP-4352-2.
Addendum 1: 5 volunteers all entered SCP-4352 shortly after discovery (before any restrictions to subjects were made). Each reported what they saw:
- Person 1: "I reached the 6th floor and I saw a bathtub quite a lot bigger than normal. It seemed to bubble and was quite warm. Inside the bath were 3 friends I knew from my job, yelling my name and trying to get me to take off my clothes."
- Person 2: "The lights began to turn off and on quite rapidly. Everything seemed to shake and I heard a buzzing sound from the ground below. The ceiling began to lower, and I dropped down to the floor. However looking back up the ceiling was back to normal. I felt confused, but mainly embarrassed."
- Person 3: "As I walked up the stairs, I saw my dad, in blue jeans and a white shirt. We were in a bar. My dad asked for 2 beers and they came within a few seconds. The beer tasted strange. I mean, it wasn't great, but alright."
- Person 4: "The walls began to close in around me, space getting smaller and smaller. The walls started becoming more and more distorted. I heard a higher and louder pitched noise, and the room got brighter and brighter. There was a big flash, and it was over."
- Person 5: "I seemed to be on a ferry, looking out the windows of the building I saw open ocean with no land in sight. Me and some other friends bought some pudding from an old and strange looking woman; I bought a strawberry sundae and someone else got a banana split. Suddenly alarms started going off and a bomb was coming towards us in the distance. As it hit the boat, I heard extremely loud explosions and I got a massive headache."
Addendum 2: A few days after the 5 subjects entered and exited SCP-4352 without harm, 3 D-Class personnel were instructed to walk up the building and explore each floor. Subject D-█████ was heard by the other D-Class as screaming and many stab wounds and cuts appeared on the subject. D-█████ shouted that he was seeing a man with a height of around 1.8m with a dagger in his right hand. The 2 other D-Class survived with no injuries. D-█████ was found dead on floor █.
After further research, it is believed that D-█████ was witnessing the murder that he committed, being stabbed and killed by himself. Post this event, no D-Class are to enter SCP-4352.
After taking samples from the walls and floor of SCP-4352, nothing has been found which might affect the anomaly. Further investigation is taking place while SCP-4352 is inactive to find out what causes the anomaly. However during the time since SCP-4352 was discovered, there has been increased suspicion. The building may be deconstructed in a few years if nothing is found within the building. If this goes through, every brick and light must be destroyed to prevent the affects of SCP-4352 from reoccurring.
