Special Containment procedures: SCP-#### can be kept safely in a minimal security environment. SCP-#### currently resides in a repurposed equipment storage room in North African site-127. The room has undergone the following alterations:
CCTV cameras are placed around the room.
A seven-inch layer of dry ice one foot underneath the floor, and two inches behind the walls.
Multiple air conditioners, heaters, fans, and furniture.
Due to SCP-#### anomalous properties, the containment suite must be checked weekly by site personnel for signs of burn damage.
During shedding events, SCP-#### is to be confined to the containment suite and be prescribed ointments and tools to help with the shedding process. Following the event’s completion, the suite is to be vacuumed and washed.
SCP-#### has a tendency to request personal items and modifications to its containment suite, if these requests are deemed reasonable, are approved by personnel of at least level 3 security clearance and SCP-#### has been cooperative in containment, they may be granted. Some requests include:
A copy of the Quran: granted
A Muslim prayer rug: granted
A large poster map of Morocco: denied
A small hardcover notebook, with pencils: granted
One Berber carpet: granted
A television and DVD player with various movies and tv shows: granted
Tea maker set: granted
Monthly packs of Moroccan mint tea: granted
Cctv cameras to be removed from the suite: denied
A meeting with SCP-999: denied
SCP-#### is allowed to freely roam the majority of site-127 and interact with staff, staff are encouraged to interact with SCP-#### if the subject approaches. The subject is required to wear a shock collar capable of 1,200 volts, and the following incident ####-A must be accompanied by an armed escort.
If SCP-#### attempts to gain access to restricted areas of the site-127, or escape, it is to be incapacitated, subject to disciplinary actions, and restricted to solitary confinement.
A bi-monthly physical examination is to be conducted by a site Researcher Dr. ██ about health concerns.
The current goal of containment is to extract information about the “Order of Creation,” the subject might possess, an interview about the “order of creation” is to be conducted monthly by the North African field operations █████. Once sufficient information on the Order of Creation is extracted, SCP-#### is to be relocated to one of the following containment sites: site-17, site-06-3, or site-88.
Description: SCP-#### looks similar to and assumed to have once been a regular human female. SCP-#### is currently in its late teens (eighteen years of age) with below-average weight and above-average height (2.1 meters). SCP-#### is capable of speech and is fluent in Arabic, and French which it can also read, it also speaks rudimentary English. DNA tests have been largely inconclusive but point to Arab ancestry.
SCP-####’s anomalous property is a “skin condition” covering its back, shoulders, hips, arms, hands, and thighs. Unaffected areas lack pigmentation but are otherwise unremarkable. Affected areas have two main layers: the top layer is rough, dry and heavily cracked. The space between the cracks on the back and shoulders expands and constricts in rhythm with SCP-####’s breathing. The second layer is theorized to be modified dermis that when exposed to Oxygen becomes extremely hot (around 90 degrees Celsius), SCP-#### can further increase the temperature by holding its breath as the larger cracks on its back and shoulders add more oxygen exposure the top layer skin is also heated. If touched without protection this layer is capable of causing extreme first-degree burns.
SCP-#### is not generally hostile but if it feels threatened it will use its abilities to attempt to incapacitate its perceived aggressors (see recovery log).
SCP-#### covers itself with hospital bandages, a long skirt, and a black cloak. To control its temperature it wears a small cloth ribbon tied tightly around its neck.
Every three months or so, the outer layer of skin dies, hardens and must is shed off, SCP-#### does not experience pain from this process and is capable of performing the exfoliation itself.
SCP-#### has demonstrated multiple times the ability to melt steel walls by taking a breath and pressing its back against said wall, the subject can make a hole in three minutes.
SCP-#### shows extreme tolerance to the heat from the melting steel (and normally impending levels heat in general). Dry ice and colder environments cause SCP-#### a lot of pain and distress when coming into contact with them.
Personality assessment by Head Researcher Dr. ██: Now that we have made it clear we don’t wish to do the subject harm it seems to be comfortable and content, SCP-#### is cooperative, social, and friendly to the majority of site staff and enjoys company. SCP-#### has even been rather “playful”, CCTV once observed the subject putting a capless water bottle on the sites break room door so some poor soul getting some tea would get soaked, quite mischievous… honestly regret taking it down, not much excitement here.
Director - informs me that progress has been made but there is still a bit of trauma-related difficulties when it comes gaining information on the “order of creation”, considering the foundation might have a potential new GoI on its hands it is unfortunate we are still having a notable amount of trouble extracting information.
Addendum:
Circumstances of Retrieval: SCP-#### first came to the foundation’s attention after the Morrocan special forces raided a compound located in [DATA EXPUNGED], later confirmed to be a type of lab run by the “order of creation”, and found various pictures of anomalous items, and notes on experiments with various objects, animals, and human prisoners, one of the pictures was later identified as SCP-####, special forces agents were given Class B Amnestics and the property was bought by the foundation. SCP-#### was found by an undercover Foundation agent working in [DATA EXPUNGED] Morocco, at 6:40 pm outside the city’s medina, the agent contacted field personnel at site-127 who sent a small containment team to the agent’s location.
By 9:30 pm the team and agent tracked SCP-#### to a broken down apartment building in the medina that SCP-#### settled in before coming into Foundation custody. By 9:35. SCP-#### was sedated and put into an item transport vehicle headed for site-127.
