Riley Carnell

SCP-9785 also known as Riley the psychic boy, is a safe class SCP that is one of the most powerful SCPs known to the Foundation. SCP-9785 resembles a male in his early 10s and appears to prefer to levitate. He has unique powers ranging from teleportation to being able to create types of objects such as shields and weapons. SCP-9785 was spotted by Mobile Task Force on February 4th, 2019 after he entered out of a portal appearing on a building. The Mobile Task Force moved in to capture him. t took them many hours but the Mobile Task Force had finally immobilized him and took him to the foundation. He then woke up in the foundation saying "what's going on?" and "Where am I?". A level 3 clearance researcher had come to him saying that he was at the Foundation and that he will not be allowed to leave at all. SCP-9785 then replied saying "really?" before trying to teleport away but was caught in a force field and taken back to containment. Apparently when he was trying to escape the Mobile Task Force, he had teleported away from them several times and the Mobile Task Force had known that SCP-9785 would use that teleportation to escape containment if they captured him(which they did) so they has contacted the researchers back at the facility and they had created an Anti-Teleportation Force Field device that would prevent entities within the force field from being able to teleport beyond the point of the force field. Then they had placed that force field on top of the facility. Meanwhile MTF caught him and took him to containment and made sure he could not teleport away. After all that SCP-9785 was then put against euclid and keter class SCPs to test his abilities. SCp-9785 wasn't technically immortal, but had shown great resistance towards dangerous SCPs such as SCP-173 and SCP-682. on April 14, 2019 the unexpectable happened. SCP-9785 had been put into a containment cell with SCP-682 and SCP-682 had died to a powerful blast from SCP-9785. The researchers at the event were amazed to see an unkillable being such as SCP-682 get defeated by a simple laser. With some research scientist were able to study the atoms of the laser produced were 10x the strength of the sun, but something was off. even though that power was stronger than the sun itself, why did SCP-682 die to the same type of power used by the flaming sword SCP-001 used on SCP-682 that SCP-682 survived? It was a mystery until Dr. Bright had asked SCP-9785 about it. He said that he had come from a different universe from theirs(don't they all) and that his power will increase if he is in another universe from his own. Another cause of the massive power was something he held onto called a Ultra star. He claimed that these stars when combined with a person would give them a very powerful boost that would sometimes make a god jealous. He also claimed that he didn't use the full power of the Ultra star because it would be too much for the containment cell to handle. SCP-9785 promised that he would bring back SCP-682 so he went to SCP-682's containment cell, preformed a spell, and SCP-682 was brought back to life in an instant. SCP-9785 said his name was Riley but the foundation would just call him SCP-9785. SCP-9785 said that he had arrived here on accident when he had left home to try to defend the universe. He had accidently went into the wrong portal and ended up in the foundation's universe. He also had said that he had friends he was worried about that were named Greatmander, Gold, Heart, and Jake. For 3 months SCP-9785 was kept at the facility being able to roam free. SCP-9785 teleport to the nearest food/liquid supply and take whatever he wants and sits there at eats/drinks it. He would only go to his containment cell when asked to go or choosing to go there. SCP-9785 was very nice and cooperative to foundation staff and is known for saving lives. SCP-9785 will teleport to a person that is in trouble and protect them with a shield he creates. For example, when the foundation was raided by the children of the scarlet king, he had protected the facility using his psychic powers and shields and hoarded them off. Every tough and strong SCP was afraid to face SCP-9785. SCP-682 is still scared to this day saying things like "don't let me see him again". On March 22, 2020 SCP-9785 was ordered to see the 05 Council. Barely would the 05 Council let an SCP see them. SCP-9785 had then teleported to the 05 Council where they had a little chat. The 05 Council had agreed to let SCP-9785 out of the facility to roam free in the world. They also said that SCP-9785 will be referred to as his real name Riley and not SCP-9785. The 05 Council told Riley that they only did this because even though they know that he accidently arrived here, they kept him longer knowing that he would be a good help to the facility. From Protecting the facility, helping with containment breaches, and to traveling back in time to help with problems in the past, Riley was an amazing person and his loyalty to not just the foundation, but to the world as well, helped the foundation so much and the 05 Council were internally grateful. Riley was joyed that he could return to his friends, but he has going to miss all the people he made friends with, so he promised that he would return from time to time and to help the world of the SCP Foundation. The researcher staff had turned off the Anti-Teleportation Force Field and they all said their goodbyes as Riley teleported away to his home to come back to the foundation one day.
