Special Containment Procedures: SCP-173 is to have 3 (three) armed boats with 10-15 security personnel on each boat. It must be under constant observation and no personnel should be within 40 feet of its location. Any unauthorized personnel that have stumbled upon SCP-173’s location are to be detained, administered, and questioned.

Security personnel are to be switched out every two (2) weeks in order to protect them from engaging with SCP-173.

Description: SCP-173 is the Kohler Kathryn 1.28 GPF toilet located on a massive rock in the middle of the ████████ Ocean. The rock reaches 2 meters above the ocean's surface and 100 meters below the surface. The toilet sits on top of the rock with no sign of dirt on it.

SCP-173’s anomalous effect begins when the subject comes within a 10 meter radius. The subject will feel the sudden urge to sit down on SCP-173. Once the subject is sitting, however, their urge to sit will instantly disappear. Anyone who attempts to get the subject off SCP-173 will always fail. After a solid minute, SCP-173 will start to sink into the ocean at a steady 15 mph. The subject will be stuck on the toilet seat until they are pulled under water. After two (2) hours, SCP-173 will rise back up to the ocean's surface at 103 mph. Upon reaching its original spot, the subject will no longer be seen on its platform.

SCP-173 was discovered when a newspaper article was released on ██/██/████, reporting the case of multiple missing sailors after entering the ████████ Ocean. The SCP Foundation went to investigate the issue. They discovered a toilet on a rock in the far outskirts of the ocean. An abundant amount of Security Personnel were sent out to watch SCP-173 in order to secure it from any other personnel.
