Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3634 is kept in a small metal container 3 meters away from source of electrical energy, and out of sight of any personnel with children between the ages of 2 and 12. SCP-3634's bulb must be changed every 3.4 years. If a child between the ages of 2 and 12 comes in contact with SCP-3634's light they must be kept in a minimum of 2 meters of SCP-3634 between 8:30 pm and 5:30 am every night until they are 13 years of age

Description: SCP-3634 is a night light. There are two prongs on the back of SCP-3634 consistent with american outlets, and a small LED light in the front behind a translucent plastic cover with a Dr. Wondertainment purple W logo. When turned on SCP-3634 will emit a cyan color light regardless of bulb color.

The tag on SCP-3634 states:

Let your child sleep soundly without fear of the "monsters in the closet" with Dr. Wondertainment's Sun Buddy.
CAUTION do not look directly into LED for long periods. Never stop using Sun Buddy until child is of age. Dr. Wondertainment will not be held responsible for any personal injury caused by Sun Buddy.

Discovery: SCP-3634 was found ██/██/2015 in the Franklin Household in northern ██████ after the disappearance of their 9 year old son David. They claimed to have found it at a yard sale around the block. David left crayon drawings in his room of a tall black humanoid creature (hereafter referred to as SCP-3634-2) in his closet or under his bed.

Addendum SCP-3634 will activate at exactly 8:30 pm local time when within 2 meters of an open power source. When a child between the ages of 2 and 12 is exposed to SCP-3634's light an instance of SCP-3634-2 will appear where the light does not touch. The creature will disappear when exposed to light above 0.32 lumens(including SCP-3634's light), and humans at age 13 or above. SCP-3634-2 will continue to stalk the victim until they are not exposed to light or adults. It will then proceed to ███ the victim. SCP-3634 will disappear with the victim until another child comes in contact with SCP-3634.

Procedure: Subject will be outfitted with live video and audio night vision camera, flashlight, and GPS tracker. Subject was placed in a single person cell approximately 10' long 5' wide with a bed, and a single outlet in the wall. Subject will activate SCP-3634 until SCP-3634-2 can be found, and promptly deactivate it.

Subject enters cell at 8:25 pm with SCP-3634. Subject plugs SCP-3634 into near by outlet. At exactly 8:30 SCP-3634 activates as expected. Subject is observed to be calmed by the light of SCP-3634 until 8:47 when subject spots SCP-3634-2 underneath a cot on the other side of the cell. Control tells subject to remain calm as they turn off the power. Subject has backed into the corner furthest from SCP-3634-2, and is asking to see his mother. Request denied by control. 8:50 power cut off from SCP-3634. Night vision activates on subject's camera. SCP-3634-2 is crawling out from under the cot. The creature is slightly reptilian in nature

Item #: You are surprised that this SCP is a joke version of 426. You wonder how this could possibly be as funny or better considering that this is the author's first SCP.

Object Class: You read this, and think "Hmm well its not world ending, but not something to leave lying round".

Special Containment Procedures: You see that there is a lot of similarity in procedure to SCP-426's containment from the windowless room to Class C amnesics administered to affected personnel. You notice that any documentation of SCP-426-J must be taken for testing. You wonder why this is.

Description: You find it a little funny that SCP-426-J is microwave instead of a toaster. You connect that the strange format of the document is due to the fact that anything spoken or written about the microwave is replaced by the reaction of the recipient said in the second person. You also find the fact that this document recorded your reaction to your reaction extremely paradoxical, and decide to not dwell on it.
